Re: Advanced Duplicate Find & Fix 3.7.4 (2010-08-21)

It says in the first post "please read the Update log for latest info!" - I've been looking for about 10 minutes, can't find anything that has up-to-date screenshots/instructions on what I want to do though My problem is described here http://www.mediamonkey.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=1&t=54132 Lowla...

Re: Finding tracks that had filename changed by iTunes

Thanks Lowlander. Yeah, when I was changing the filenames in MM, I was changing them to what iTunes had them stored as so it would still be able to find them  I will definitely check out the addon, might be just what I need if I can use the 'new' location but the old play history, but not sure...

Finding tracks that had filename changed by iTunes

Hi I've been using MM Gold for a few years but at some point a few months ago I added my library to iTunes (iPhone issues and I wanted to use the Genius feature). Unfortunately, seemingly by default, iTunes had "Keep my music files organised" so before I knew what it was doing, it completely re-orga...

Re: Crashes on opening in 64-bit Vista

i think it might have something to do with minilyrics too but its only been happening since i started using 64-bit vista. maybe minilyrics is not fully compatible with it. shame, because i really like using minilyrics, but mediamonkey is crashing heaps either on start up or just randomly.

Re: Crashes on opening in 64-bit Vista

Well I reinstalled itunes+quicktime but that didn't fix the problem. It might be nothing but I just noticed it seems to crash when it gets to a certain file or group of files of M4P format during the start-up file monitor scan. I have had these files for a while and it did not use to cause a problem...

Crashes on opening in 64-bit Vista

I recently started using 64-bit Vista and now MediaMonkey crashes almost every time I open it, and if not when I open it then not long after. I am using in conjunction with miniLyrics and Last.fm which I was also using before with 32-bit Vista and I never had any problems. I have tried the changing ...

ipod Auto-Sync aborting

G'day all, I had been successfully syncing my iPod with MediaMonkey (most recent version,Gold) for several months. Then I decided to transfer some movies in iTunes (7.6). I have it on manually manage music, and I transferred them simply by dragging them from the iTunes movie library to the iPod. And...

Random addition of picture to Album Art tag.

Yesterday I went though my entire library removing one particular album cover that MediaMonkey had assigned (tagged) randomly to many different tracks (some with <Album> tags, some without, some recent tracks, some old ones). Today they seem to have all reappeared. I don't know whether this is a MM ...

Ah ok I didn't know about the <path> mask.
Thanks, I'll know if I ever need to make a similar movement of my library.

Thanks for the script, it's cool. I sometimes COMPLETELY RANDOMLY get this error though: Error #-2147024726 - File: "C:\Program Files\MediaMonkey\Scripts\Auto\PrettyPictures.vbs", Line 880, Column: 2. which follows with Error executing script event. I haven't looked in this file since I know nothing...

http://www.mediamonkey.com/support/index.php?_m=knowledgebase&_a=viewarticle&kbarticleid=59 I am almost certain I am an administrator. I did consider the auto-organise, however two reasons against this: I have a folder within Music called Artists. In this folder I keep all my "major" artists (no hard and fast rule, but most of which I have a full album or more but in some cases just , say 5, miscellaneous tracks. Using Auto-organis...

Simply moving library driving me crazy.

This is the most basic thing I've ever asked, seemingly. I want to move all my music from Z:\Documents and Settings\Stephen\My Documents\My Music\Music to Z:\Music. This is because Z:\ Used to be C:\ with XP, but I made a new partition named C:\ with Vista on it and then wiped everything off Z:\ exc...

If it's going back to the top of a list it sounds like you have continuous playback (repeat) switched on. There should be a button next to the play button (depending on which skin you use) which toggles it on/off.

Scrobbling working or not?

When I installed the Scrobble script it said something like Error: Product installation error. But it appears in options and is listed in extensions. I have entered my profile information in the right boxes. Tracks playing currently nor previous tracks show up in the task bar. On my last.fm profile ...
