Re: MediaMonkey iTunes plugin (d_itunes4.dll)
I think I am in the same camp now. I have been an MM Gold user for many many years, with a growing library of FLAC files, and it served me well, especially when i had dated slower pc's, so I was always hesitant to move. But now, with newer hardware. and as I get older, I want more convenience and s...

Re: MediaMonkey iTunes plugin (d_itunes4.dll)
Feature Request: Can you add support for start/stop time syncing between MM and iTunes? Don't hold your breath, the plugin developer has stop supporting/developing this plugin. For more details, read earlier in this thread. I was hoping the MediaMonkey developers would do a MM for iOS, but there is...

Re: MediaMonkey iTunes plugin (d_itunes4.dll)
Dear All To be honest I have lost interest on this plugin. I am in the process of migrating from MM and will never get back to re-coding the plugin to make it work reliably. I am aware that there are still many users who use it and I feel that it is a good extension to MM. In the spirit of cooperat...

Re: MediaMonkey for iphone
Yeah, I guess the dev's will need to maintain compatibility with existing ways of syncing. If there were a MediaMonkey for iPhone (iOS?), at least there would be an alternative to waiting for MM to catch up with the hardware and/or iOS changes that Apple throws out at least once a year. Yeah, apps c...

Re: MediaMonkey for iphone
+1 Yeah, there are now MediaMonkey's for Android and Windows 8. An iPhone app version using the same API's MM Android uses would be great. It would mean you wouldn't need to worry about Apple changing things and screwing MM up. d_itunes4.dll is a poor subsitute and has many many many issues, and I'm...

Re: MediaMonkey iTunes plugin (d_itunes4.dll)
Is this plugin still actively supported? I see a lot of questions and discussion of late, but the developer seems to be very very quite of recent. I have a number of issues with using this plugin and need to decide to persue them or cut my losses. My issues cover... - d_itunes4.dll crashing with an ...

1693: My sort by PLAYED# then autmatically sorts by LENGTH
When I setup an automatic playlist, and sort by PLAYED#, after sorting by played #, it then automatically sorts by LENGTH, even thou I have not asked it to. So, when I have this sorting PLAYED # DISK It never actually (usefully) gets to sort by DISK, as it seems to using this sort criteria. PLAYED #...

Podcast Support in iTunes?
It seems that podcasts transferred into iTunes from MM 4 via d_itunes4.dll are not "marked" as podcasts in iTunes. They are treated as music. This is very annoying, as the iPhones special handling of podcasts allows for 30 seconds rewinds and for listening at 2x and 0.5x speed, which is ve...

Re: MediaMonkey iTunes plugin (d_itunes.dll & d_itunes4.dll)
I've done some work and suspect that I now know the answer. Can you look in the registry and tell me what the value of the 'sourcename' entry is? Also, expand the iTunes node in MM (while iTunes is running) and tell me what nodes appear. I have "Library" and "Radio". registry so...

Re: MediaMonkey iTunes plugin (d_itunes.dll & d_itunes4.dll)
Do you have a non-english local set on the PC? The non-English locale installations of iTunes have different names for the internal libraries. I REALLY like the idea of you using the plugin too. :D EDIT: I've done some work and suspect that I now know the answer. Can you look in the registry and te...

Re: MediaMonkey iTunes plugin (d_itunes.dll & d_itunes4.dll)
Hmm, I actually ended up deleting the whole key "<d_itunes4.dll on XXXXX>". Since then, the plug-in seems to be doing what it should do. I'll keep a very close eye on it and do some serious testing. If the problem comes back, I'll let you know. Nuh, problems are back. It seems to have pro...
