Yes, I can confirm this, too.lemo wrote:
Could I just check with both of you that when you say it's working, you mean it's working as an Auto DJ plugin (because the other functionality - RadioDJ node - works for me).
Thanks...

Re: Script: Radio-DJ [MM4?]
Thanks, popper. I suspect that Line: 1 etc. is misleading. I've been reading through the code and trying to figure out how Auto-DJ scripts work. The weird thing is that other parts of the script work fine, e.g. it creates the "Radio-DJ V1.2.0" node in the browser/explorer pane. It also cr...

Re: Script: Radio-DJ [MM3]
In your error message it says "Line: 1, Column: 0". That means it has not come very far in working through the code. Not very far at all ;-) Perhaps the file is even empty? (Did you install it with admin rights?) Did you have a look at that file? I am not a VB programmer either, but that w...

For me it's working in MM4 without modifications. Of course, you need to make sure that you have that playlist called "RadioDJ_Input".anonym... wrote:This does not work in MM4...

Syncing single songs to iPod renders Cover Flow useless
The Problem Apart from carrying around full albums on my iPod touch 3G, I also have a range of single songs that I like to hear, but where I don't own the complete album. My very personal "One hit wonders", so to say. Now, when I sync my MediaMonkey library with my iPod, this will also co...

Yes, thanks, I understand that now. Just wanted to mention that it can be confusing to others as well.

Re: How to use device synchronization against a network share?
Cool! I did a quick check and this really seems to work! Thanks a lot for your help. Actually, I had seen this field where I can enter my drive name. But I was confused by the button "find device" next to it because it didn't do anything - and so I thought that this was not the way to go. ...

How to use device synchronization against a network share?
I have a router that I use as an UPNP server. This router has a 32 GB usb stick as its "hard drive" where I store my music library. To save space on the stick, I would like to reduce the bitrate of my MP3s (which are usually around 250 kbps) to 160 kbps which I figure is still good enough ...

Ohhh, it would be so nice if there were a way to edit the excluded genres as an option instead of me trying to find the genre numbers. 8) I assume that you are using the version 1.8.0 with MM3? Then you don't have to look up genre numbers any more (the explanation in the comment is outdated). Inste...

Popper, I didn't really find anything that could explain why it doesn't work for you. (I found a small bug which shouldn't affect you.) But the method I use will fail sometimes if you have changed the driveletter of a HD already in MM. Read here: http://www.mediamonkey.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=130...

"Exclude folders" does not seem to work
Hi Bex, thanks a lot for this wonderful script. It helps a lot with managing a music library! There is one problem I have been encountering since several versions now: i cannot get the "Exclude folders" to work: - I define them in the Options dialog (e.g. D:\music\misc\ ) and check the che...

Works with MM3
I can confirm that this script is working with MM3. Or at least the "manual part" of it, i am not using the graphical config part of it. No special actions are necessary to make it work.

Thanks for your replies. After reading them, it became clear to me that of course, the database cannot know about these things - it's not its job to know this. I could have thought of this in the first place! As my music collection still fits on on hard disk, I refrain from implementing this ...
