Re: MM v4 & Sonos
For anyone interested in combining MediaMonkey with Sonos and landing on this forum topic: it works excellent with the release of MM 4.1. Just select the Sonos as your preferred player and songs are played instantly. A great improvement over some beta version I have tested. I love using MM with the ...

Re: Last.fm Scrobbler help
Since the last major update to MM 4.1.0.1609 MM scrobbles music that is not playing. In my Last.fm timeline there are "ghost" scrobbles. I checked the log and see they appear there as well. Usually the tracks are from playslists I've build, but I have no clue why those are selected. Is any...

Re: AIFF play back?
I installed both plugins, not sure which one is working but it works! I can't drag and drop files though I have to import through the menu.

Re: MM v4 & Sonos
Yes it is possible to send music to the Sonos. Currently only with the beta version of mm 4.1 though, but the latest builds are rather stable. With the 4.0 version it is possible to access the library through the Sonos app, but for me that is a rather lengthy process. Sonos functions quite well as a...

Re: MM v4 & Sonos
It's still in beta, so some errors might occur... I noted the playlist does not always play continuously and also that when clicking on a next track to play the current track would start again. I'm not familiar with your error though, but have you tried different filetypes? I see you tried to play a...

Re: MM v4 & Sonos
For those still wondering how to integrate MM with Sonos. Try the beta version of MM 4.1. It allows you to select the Sonos as a player and subsequently plays all the tracks you queue up in the playlist! This just made my day because it finally gives me a way to easily navigate my whole library with...

Re: MM v4 & Sonos
You are right it is still not possible to queue albums, or playlists to Sonos. However, the other way around works fine, i can acces my MM library through Sonos and thereby bypass the 65k track limit.

Re: MM v4 & Sonos
It seems Sonos is opening up it's standard to allow greater connectivity with other network devices. I can now at least see Mediamonkey listed as a source in my Sonos setup (when the laptop running Mediamonkey is operating of course). This makes it easy to browse the Mediamonkey library. It is also ...

Re: MM v4 & Sonos
Perhaps Sonos users will find the following page interesting: http://forums.sonos.com/showthread.php?t=12777 It lists software that communicates well with Sonos. Amongst other things it mentions Upnp software. Hopefully this software can inspire some of the smart techsavy people here to create somet...

Re: DLNA
I would really enjoy a play to option in MediaMonkey. I have a Sonos set, which works with WMP 12, but i don't need to tell you guys WMP cannot compete with MM when it comes to controlling and playing your music library... There are probably a lot of priorities and requests for the new MM, but DLNA ...

Re: tracks from m-z appear to be lost from library
I have backups luckily... Most is on an old hard drive, which has some problems of its own. The rest is on dvds somewhere. But re-tagging all the songs is taking weeks... Time to buy an extra external hard drive! Thanks for the support though;)!
