not sure if this is what you wanted but:
if you right click on the device in mediamonkey, goto configure device, and on the device configuration tab it has options for where to store the playlist and music on the device.

Also there should be an option on the device to choose either MTP or MSD mode?

Its a completly different operating system and processor arcitechure. Alot of code would have to be rewritten and like the other poster said, It would not work on such a low resolution screen.

My Nokia E71 syncs nearly perfectly (symbian 3rd edition). If your phone supports MTP or Mass storage mode, it will work. Not sure why you need specific symbian support, symbian doesnt even have its own sync protocol for music and media as far as i know.

this is kinda just a workaround, but you could make a random autoplaylist (maybe make it prefer higher rated songs), and set the limit to how many gigs you want taken up by music.

Same problem here with latest version, playing a internet stream craps out after a while and it just seems to loop whatevers in buffer. Only way to get out of mediamonkey is to kill the process. Real annoying.
