Re: Playlists expanded when MM opens

I figured out, that the "randomize playlist" extension expands the playlist node on mediamonkey startup.
So if you have installed this script that's probably the cause.

MM3 for OSX

We (see http://www.mediamonkey.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=1537) would very much appreciate a MM3 Version for Mac OSX!!!

So please add this to the "other"-section of the wishlist.

I am a bit surprised people that had been using PCs switch to Macs. The problem with a closed system is you need to do the their way. With a PC you have far more choices. By the way, did you know iTunes down grades imported music? The makers of iTunes must figure you like crap! It will take your 32...

MM3 and then Mac?

Maybe after the launch of MM3 the developers may consider porting MM to Mac OSX!?

I would love it!!!

Really good news for me!
That's great, I'll have a look at the beta.

Thanx for the hint.

multiple database files

One of my biggest problems with MM is, that I use it on my MacBook Pro. I don't have much free diskspace for music. So my main stock is on an external harddrive and some files (especially new ones) are on my mbp. I think it would be very comfortable to have a database-file for each music-location. I...

Is money the problem?

Mediamonkey is worth many bucks! I already have my lifetime-license but that would not stop me from paying for a mac-version. iTunes is OK for listening to podcasts. But even those can't be organized well in iTunes.
iMonkey would rule!

I would say, this represents the interest for the "no native MM on Mac"-problem.
Why is this topic not on any grouped wishlist? Or did I just miss it?

I need to say it again. Tried out many music-organizers/players and none could get close to MM. So please, the mac-community needs this programm!

Sleep Timer -> Hibernate or Standby

I like the sleep timer very much, but it would be a great option, if I could choose what my computer does after the time is over. PowerOff, Hibernate or Standby.
It's not very hard to implement, is it?

Great Plugin

Yeah, that plugin is really great! I kinda combined the scripts and the plugin. Now I can start MM, start playing, pause, start playing again and skip to next track with two buttons (two scripts). Start MM, Play, Pause VBScript 'Check if mediamonkey is running strComputer = "." Set objWMIService = G...

Thanks for your reply, I tried your suggestion, but it still doesn't work. Your approach sounds logical to me, but still the same error occures. This is what the VBScript looks like now: Dim SDB Set SDB = CreateObject("SongsDB.SDBApplication") While Not SDB.IsRunning WEnd 'MM is paused or running? T...
