the debug version was installed in the correct directory. I have resent the initial debug log (see first post in thread) to support@mediamonkey.com with the subject of "mm242_access_violation.log" In looking in the log, it looks as if I was using the correct debug version from the beginning (not the...

I followed the instructions on the post you sent. The installation of the debug version went through to completion to the point where it asks if you want to "launch" the application. When I run the application I get the following error. MediaMonkey_Debug.exe - Unable To Locate Component This applica...

Jiri, I downloaded and installed 2.4.2 final and had the same results. The 2.4.2 final version did not produce any debug output. The only debug info I can provide is that which was obtained used http://www.mediamonkey.com/sw/MediaMonkey_Debug.exe unless there is another way to get this info. Please ...

duplicate entries for a song not just two of the same song!?

Hey.. I've used MM back since the Song-db days. Awesome tool! I've searched the forums and help re: dupes but haven't found what I'm looking for so I'm now posting. I have several songs that have duplicate entries. Note: This is not the same song in two physically separate locations but the same phy...

Req: can Media Monkey install clean up Songs-DB artifacts

<pet_peave>I wish people would make their subject descriptive so it'd be easier to search the "buglist"</pet_peave> I just installed MM2.0. I understand the reasoning behind the name change but am not thrilled with it *sigh*. However, it would be nice if the install of MM cleaned up the start menu, ...

Very cool. It would be neat to have this as a feature in the released version.

Good job on build 519 so far ;)

WinXP and Win2k will not shut down with Songs-db running

I've observed this behaviour on 1.3 also so you may be aware of it but I have Songs-db running on WinXP and Win2k. With Songs-db running and minimized to the system tray Windows will not shut down. (start, turn off computer, shut down on XP and start, Shut down.., shut down on Win2k) Are you aware o...

songs-db and nero

I did do a reboot (a couple of times) and Nero still wouldn't burn to disk.

I'm sure there was a setting in Nero that I could have played around with to get it to burn again but it was late and I was tired and re-installing was faster.

Still can repro

Thanks for the reply Rusty,

Hmm. I don't think that those bugs are the issue. These were dupes that were in my old database.

I was able to repro this on Win 2k as well.

Not sure what to say. If you can't repro it, it's hard to fix ;)
