Re: Advanced Duplicate Find & Fix 3.7.4 (2010-08-21)

Newbie question so please forgive me. What about if you have files that are the same except the number one or two before the period and the extension; is there a way to automatically pick the file with the highest bit rate? What about if the files are across folders or in the same folder? Finally is...

User error. These were licensed .wma files that I hadn't played in a long time before I rebuilt my computer. Had to go into Windows Media Player and reauthorize the songs. Works fine now in both MediaMonkey and Windows Media Player.

Itunes ripping faster?

I'm ripping it to MP3 and 192 kbps standard vbr. It is a lot faster if I choose Extreme Fast 256 kbps. Am I not comparing apples to apples with Itunes? I'm also ripping at 192kbps standard vbr with a quality of medium in Itunes.

ripping cd's very slow

When I rip a CD it takes an extremely long time compared to Itunes. Both run at 100% CPU. I have the CD Reader set to maximum. I put the .vbs script in to have no playlists. I set the background tasks to normal. Should the read option interface be SPTI for XP Pro? What about 24 sectors for the buffe...
