Re: Dead Monkey... installs on Windows 7, but dies at launch
Update to my post above. This is definately most weird. I looked where that d_iphone.dll file was located, I had one in both my QuickTime and Media Monkey directories. I renamed the one from the MediaMonkey directory to d_iphone.dll.old and MM doesn't crash anymore on startup. Definately something t...

Re: Beta 2: Logitech G15 display still doesn't work perfect
Disable all things in WVS and leave only Player Controls + Spectrum. Well quite honestly at this moment I rather look at the bugged default G15 display (with the missing title info) rather than reinstalling WVS and face all my previous problems again. At least this is something that always works an...

Re: Beta 2: Logitech G15 display still doesn't work perfect
Is there any alternative to WVS yet in regards to showing what music you are listening to on your G15 display? I have tried WVS when I was using MM 3.0.6 but I really don't like the program. It has soooo much stuff in it that I don't need or want at all. The only thing I really am interested in for ...

Re: this one actually works for live messenger
I tried a lot of these winamp plugins, none worked because they were made for msn 7. Live messenger was not compatible. Luckily there was one plugin for Live messenger. http://www.winamp.com/plugins/details/151526 Just change the install directory to MediaMonkey and it works. This works perfect in ...

Re: Product Installation Error on Last.fm Install
I had the exact same error on my PC (I just freshly reinstalled my PC with Vista 64 and decided to give the latest MM beta a try instead of 3.0.7 with the latest last.fm scrobbler as well. Reading Peke's post, going to the MM shortcut and selecting "always run as admin" did it for me and a...

Re: Last.fm Scrobbler plug-in installation
Thanks for that .mmip rename hint. I was already wondering what I had to do with the contents of the "Zip" file as well. :) Anyway, installed the latest beta versions of both MM 3.1 and this scrobbler on my laptop and it seems to work like a charm. Can't wait for the final 3.1 release and ...

Re: Album Date vs. Original Track Release Date Fields
I would have tagged music files as above but it doesn’t meet all my needs. To take advantage of the Music Explorer Tree’s “Year” node for sorting tracks by original release year categories, I’ve used the fields as follows: Date = Track original release date Original Date = (Unused. Would use for Al...

Re: Faster way to Send To Playlist
Under Tools > Options > Player (I think) you can also set how you want MM to respond to a double-click. Default it will immediately play whatever track you double click I think. But I changed it so that double-clicking a file sends it to the end of my Now Playing list. For multiple tracks or entire ...

Re: Now Playing plugin for Mediamonkey Unicode
Ok that helped a little but it's still not working. When I go to where you say I should look I got this : Under Now Playing format : NP : [if_artist]{artist} - [/if_artist]{title} [{elapsed}/{length}] [{bar}] {status} (!WAT) format : [if_artist]{artist} - [/if_artist]{title} Main Player: MediaMonkey...

Re: MM access violation on exit
My MM crashes on exit as well. I'll try installing QuickTime as well and see if that helps.

Auto-DJ ignores tracks already in Now Playing list
It seems Auto-DJ can add the same track multiple times to the Now Playing window. If a track is already in that list (passed track, current track or future track) then it shouldn't be added another time IMO. It would be nice if it could skip a track it wants to add if it's already in the list. For t...

Some things I miss from Windows Media Player
Hi, I recently changed from Windows Media Player to MediaMonkey and I really like MM so far. But there are also some features I was grown used to in WMP as well that I would like to configure in MM as well (if possible, if not then I'll put it in the suggestions forum :p). 1) Is it possible to speci...

Re: Best choices for high-performance album artwork?
I'm playing on the safe side and use album art both for the ID3 tag and as a picture file in the folder. Who knows what future portable device I might play that can't process one or the other.

Re: cracked MM
Like many people I have come by free software and fortunately my employer buys all the general software that I need and want. However as soon as I found MM I had no hesitation in buying a registered copy. Lets face it the free version is a gift. For some time I had been looking for the solution to ...
