Debug View has stopped logging MM Activity

Hi, Have been running DebugView with debug builds for a long time. Before starting MM I start Debug View and then initiate MM, and I can watch all of the loading stuff happen as per usual. Now, Debug View has stopped logging MM activity and I can't get it to start logging again. As near as I can rec...

Re: [REQ] Option to Toggle Off Rating in Grid Album View [#20195]

I would also like to see this change, because I could then use the album view for a playlist (presumably) to give me a graphic of the albums in a playlist.
Cheers

Re: sloppy programming

Mediamonkey is powerful and generally reliable but it does demand that you learn its user interface quirks. You make some valid points but overall I think that your assessment is too harsh: Changes to the layout are not saved Yes, MM5 has had a problem with saving configurations made to the display ...

Re: remove played track

You could have an AutoPlaylist select files that had "last played" before "today's date" and then play from that playlist. As soon as a song was played it would fail that criteria and removed from the playlist, but I'm not aware of a way to automatically update "today's date...

Agree, that is the only rational way for it to behave - the next song visibly down in the Now Playing list should be the next song played, even after the sequence is changed.

Re: Playlist repeating part of last track played instead of advancing

I have used MMW for a long time and always use the latest Beta builds. I found that MM4 and early versions of 5 did have an occasional problem with the end of tracks repeating by 10 seconds. It has certainly happened to me in the past, but not for more than a year now. If you are playing audio books...

Re: Force Playlist to Play Songs in Correct Order

See this pic of my Organise file mask: https://i.ibb.co/mzmsb7q/Orgnise-File-Mask-pic.png Terminology note: "directory" and "folder" are used interchangeably and to my mind mean the same thing. In your mask example I've removed the pipe symbols ("|") because they're not...

Re: Add one file to Library

I think the problem in the past was the locations being scanned ... always make sure you only have folders selected you want included. I use MMW a lot and routinely bring new files into the library. I was not aware of the Drag & Drop feature - I probably played with it a long time ago but it pr...

Re: Zoomed Screen Window Controls Ignored

One possibly relevant factor: The native resolution on the MS Surface Book that I uses for MMM2 is high, and so the effective font size of the system text is way to small for me to read, even with glasses. I therefore set the sytem display scale to 250%. I know that this has produced a display effec...

Zoomed Screen Window Controls Ignored

Hi, Following on from my post "Screen Zoom" in Need Help, I'm reporting here a repeatable problem with the window controls for a zoomed screen. Basically, after you have used the Windows screen zoom control (CTRL+Mousewheel on my system - mouse is set to "one line at at time" in ...

Re: [3018] Runaway CPU

So, is it true that nobody besides myself is experiencing high CPU showing in task manager when open full-screen, which goes away when opened as a window or minimized???? Maximised idle, no Auto DJ, no playing, no other (user-controlled) activity: 1-10% varying, up to 20% on occasion, but basically...

Re: Setting a "Start time" fails to skip to beginning

... in the 5.1.0.2382 version: if you (1) use the WASAPI output .dll AND (2) disable bookmarking AND (3) disable remove gap at start/end, it seems to work most of the time. I suspect the problem is mostly that start/end-time will not play well with bookmarking, so you can choose one or the other bu...

Re: Force Playlist to Play Songs in Correct Order

If you wouldn't mind breaking down your explanation to steps that a novice can sequentially follow using the visible UI, I would be very grateful. Please note that I'm using the latest beta build (see my sig block) and so details of this process might be different if you're using an earlier, non-be...
