Re: Double Cover Artwork Showing

Thank you! I already use 'Album Art Tagger' to extract cover art from the FLAC files. I didn't realize it could help in this situation, but sure enough... there is a "Remove artwork except first image" option. Works like a charm! I always appreciate the thoughtful and helpful responses I get in this...

Double Cover Artwork Showing

Hello- I've been using MM for over a decade now and this is the first time I've noticed this problem. I store all of my cover art in the tags of my FLAC files. I also have the cover art stored as a "folder.jpg" in the same directory as the FLAC files. Up until recently, when I went to the 'Artwork' ...

Re: MM Crashed And Recorvery Is Not Going Well

Thank you for the link, Lowlander! I re-scanned my library and then was able to restore my playlists. One more quick question: MM picked up 11 extra tracks when it scanned my FLAC files than I had in my original database. Is there a tool/add-on that would let me compare my original database to the n...

Re: MM Crashed And Recorvery Is Not Going Well

I have a current backup copy of all my FLAC files. The tags were all synced with my MM database. I'm tempted to just load a new instance of MM and import the files as a new install. I can re-load my scripts and reconfigure my settings. The big thing I don't want to lose are my playlists. They have b...

Re: MM Crashed And Recorvery Is Not Going Well

That is my suspicion as well. I loaded MM on a new Windows 10 Machine and copied the database over. I then did a Locate Missing Files and it updated all the file pointers. Still, when I load MM, the splash screen comes up and then it takes two and a half minutes for the UI to load. That's with 5,000...

Re: MM Crashed And Recorvery Is Not Going Well

Thank you for the feedback, Lowlander. I have tried the complete optimization but am still running into the same issue.

Re: MM Crashed And Recorvery Is Not Going Well

Okay, I've narrowed down when this issue happens: Everything bogs down when I click on a track from a playlist that has a lot of songs. I've never had an issue with this in the past. I have a playlist with around 50,000 tracks. Typically I just click on a track to being playing music and it adds wha...

MM Crashed And Recorvery Is Not Going Well

Hi All- I am typing this message after about 8 straight hours of trying to troubleshoot the problem I'm having with MM (4.1.25.1895). Something went very wrong last night and I haven't been able to recover. My FLAC files are all stored on a QNAP NAS. I had to update the firmware of the NAS (for an u...

Ignore Prefix Functionality

I am using the Ignore Prefix functionality to sort artists that begin with 'The' in their proper location (The Beatles falling under 'B' instead of 'T'). However, I have a couple of artists like: "Weird Al" Yankovick 'Til Tuesday ¡Forward, Russia! These all show up at the very top before artists tha...

Re: Strange WASAPI Issue

Thanks for all the advice. I updated my Realtek audio drivers and that (*cross fingers*) seems to have solved the problem. Been listening without issue for over 23 hours now.

Re: Strange WASAPI Issue

Thanks for the reply. I have tried Foobar with their WASAPI driver and I don't have the same issue. I am using the latest version of MM (4.1.9.1764). Is there a later version of MM's WASAPI plugin than 1.1? The problem is frustrating because it's sporadic. Just this morning I played tracks for hours...

Strange WASAPI Issue

Up until yesterday, I've been using the WASAPI plugin for a USB DAC and MM has worked without a hitch. Yesterday I began using an S/PDIF cable to connect to a new integrated amp I purchased that has a built-in DAC. MM works just fine for a number of hours and then suddenly it won't play any of my fi...

No Scroll Bar

Hello! I am experiencing an odd problem. When I expand any of the folders under 'My Computer' in MediaMonkey, I either have no scroll bar appear so that I can move down past what is showing on the screen, or a scroll bar appears, but it doesn't move down far enough to access everything in the tree. ...
