Re: Save Now Playing list on modification

The only playlist I have is to hold the songs to sync with my iPod. I queue up several thousand songs into the now playing list and have it configured to remove them from the list once they've been played. It would be nice to have the now playing list current even after a crash.

Save Now Playing list on modification

One thing that really irks me about MediaMonkey right now is that the Now Playing list is only persisted to disk when the application exits normally. There have been times that I've added a whole bunch of tracks to the now playing list only to lose power. When I got power back, I had to add all thos...

iTunes 11

Hello,

Has any brave soul out there tried iTunes 11 yet, and if so, does it break MM's syncing with iOS devices?

Re: MediaMonkey iTunes plugin (d_itunes.dll & d_itunes4.dll)

I downloaded DebugView, set the debug value in the registry to 2 and tried syncing again. I think it has a problem to do with UAC in Windows 7. The following lines in the debug output makes me think that. [3300] d_itunes4.dll 1:52:55 PM Delete folder C:\Users\Dave\Music\iTunes\iTunes Media\Automati...

iTunes 10.1.1?

Hey all,

Does anyone know if the newest release of iTunes (10.1.1) works with MM 3.2.4.1304? When I opened up iTunes yesterday I got a prompt to upgrade, but I wanted to wait until I was sure it wouldn't break compatibility with MediaMonkey.

Thanks,

Dave

Include only complete albums in autoplaylist

Hello,

I think it would be very handy when creating an autoplaylist sorted by random album to be able to specify that if an entire album won't fit within the specified limits, then don't include it.

Windows 7 Preview Pane Handler

I think it would be a really good idea to have a preview pane handler for the next version of MM. A lot of times I like to preview a song I've downloaded before adding it to my library. If I keep MP3s associated with MM, I have to right-click the file and choose Open With... If I keep them associate...

Problem updating database to newest version.

Hello, I've been using the latest version of MediaMonkey for quite a while now with no problems, but for some reason when I tried to load MM just now, it gave me an error message stating "There was a problem with updating database to the newest version." Is there any way to fix the problem without l...

Re: Build 1286 - Invalid product installation package error

Actually, I think it was because the addon was already installed. I thought I had uninstalled it, but when I checked the addons list, it was still there.

Build 1287 no longer remembers sort order [#6154]

Hello, I just noticed that Build 1287 no longer remembers the sort order when leaving the library node and then going back to it. I clicked on "Album Artist", then I CTRL-clicked on the following column headers: "Date", "Album", and "Track #". When I left the library node for the now playing node an...

Re: Build 1286 - Invalid product installation package error

Well, the only other addon I tried installing was the script at the following URL. http://www.mediamonkey.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=24879 It didn't work either.

Build 1286 - Invalid product installation package error

Hello, I'm running build 1286 of MediaMonkey on Windows 7 64-bit. I launched MM as Administrator so I could install an addon, but I got an Invalid Product Installation Package error. The addon I was trying to install is the last.fm Auto-DJ script. The script installed fine in build 1284. Many thanks...

Re: iTunes 9.0 Compatibility

When will Apple realize that they'll gain even more customers if they make their hardware interoperable with software from other vendors? I like MediaMonkey because it actually adds all the music in my music folder to its library. iTunes always leaves out some files no matter what I do. I guess I'll...
