What is missing for you, those steps are for MediaMonkey 5. Note that Collection is a Collection like Music.

If you mean files in MediaMonkey, right click on a file and use Find More from Same > Folder (Explorer).

Portable means it doesn't integrate with Windows and can be moved from PC to PC. This means that settings and database are all contained within the portable install folder. You right click and select Remove from the Context Menu. Wrong forum, but it still works the same. I checked and it works as expected (tested with 2402). It offers to remove file from playlist only, Playlist and database only, or playlist, database and drive.

You can't remove files from AutoPlaylists, only from regular Playlists as only those are file based. So make sure that the Playlist you're trying to remove files from are not AutoPlaylists.
