Re: Sync to folder - not working anymore

I'm easily able to make them not match by selecting a drive keeping the default name and then going back in and changing the default name. I've seen this issue for years. I have 2 now where the name in the main Options screen does not match the detail screen. I have 2 now that say "New Device" under...

Re: Sync to folder - not working anymore

Okay. I follow you now. You just select the drive and don 't need to Find Device.

BTW...in case someone from MM is listening....there is a long time bug with changing device names. It shows in the configuration screen as the new name but the new name does not show under Options>Portable Device Sync.

Re: Sync to folder - not working anymore

It used to work that way.

How can I sync to a Windows folder?

Sync to folder - not working anymore

I used to be able to use the USB mass storage plugin and the SUBST command in Windows to map a windows folder to a drive and then use MM to sync to it. I wiped my PC and upgraded to Win10 and can no longer do that. I installed the USB Mass storage plugin (had to run MM as admin for it to work). I am...

Re: Web lookup

I am looking for code to do an automatic lookup. The link lists addons that add another source to the built in MM tagger.

Web lookup

I am trying to do a web lookup for tag data. Does anyone have a sample? I saw the Sample AMG Search script, but am not clear on how it works/how to use it. That also presents results to the user. I really am looking at doing something automated, so I just need to: 1) Execute a search given the artis...

Re: Batch Art Finder 4.2 - Updated 03/07/2012

I am curious if the source is available for this script. I am looking to do something similar except instead of art, get the album from the web (without having to manually do anything).

According to that thread, the last post is "It sounds like the web service has been removed, therefore this script will no longer work."

Re: Retrieving album info for large number of tracks

Correct me if I am wrong, but don't all of the MediaMonkey auto tag from Web options deal with only 1 album at a time? If I select say 20 tracks and select auto tag from web, it only brings back 1 album even though the tracks are completely different artists.

It says that is for art, not albums.

Retrieving album info for large number of tracks

Is there any automated/easy way to retrieve the album for a large number of tracks that already have the artist/title already correct but the album is missing or wrong? By large number I am talking 100s, so I don't want to have to manually select anything for each track.

Re: Google Music Playlists

I did finally figure out how to get this done. I completely uninstalled the Google Music Manager and resinstalled it. Then I picked Use WMP. I think I had previously picked Use My Music folder and apparently that doesn't pick up playlists for whatever reason. I guess if you don't pick "WMP" (or iTun...

Google Music Playlists

I uploaded all my tracks to Google Music (I know, not exactly a device, but this seemed like best topic). However, none of my playlists (m3u/wpl) went. I searched and came across a post on here and elsewhere that said to use the Export Playlists Add-on. I did that. Still nothing in Google Music as f...

Thanks. That will work. I already use a script to export them for other devices.

What about imported playlists like m3u's?
