Have you tried SDB = nothing; instead?

I don't know about the VB scripts, but in C++ if I have a .NET reference that I explicitly want to clean up I can do an explicit delete, even though it's a managed pointer. I seem to remember that the explicit NOTHING assignment was the alternative solution for VBA in Excel, so you may indeed want t...

I agree. It's more error-prone. I was just trying to come up with a way to do it without having to wait for a new release. In my case it's easier anyway since it's only a few files (very happy to be a taggin slacker for once :D) Do you automatically rename your files to the numbered filenames? If so...

One vote for the FLAC paranoia setting. There is no repair, once its not a bit perfect copy it has to be reripped, no exceptions. Note that if the repair tool can repair the file (if tags were only edited once), it is still a bit-perfect copy. If it was repairable it was only a header that was dama...

Warning: This is just a guess, I don't know enough details on the Tag synchronization to be sure if this would work, but I want to throw it out there as idea: Would it not be sufficient to rip the new files to the same name as the old files. Make sure they don't have any tagging info in them (I'm pr...

Luckily I don't do much tag editing. I did a check and had about 10 recently added albums that had corruption and all but one of those were fixable with the patch tool.

It's not entirely clear to me when files get corrupted. I get the impression that it only is a problem if you put something in the Comment field. Is that true? If you just use the other fields would that leave the files ok?

Unless you tell it to add CD-Text information to the CD, you will always just get title1 etc. When you burn a regular audio CD you don't have tags anymore. The only reason that it will show track information for most commercial CDs is because the FreeCD database already has that track information fo...

I know it's not as fancy looking, but you know you can pause/start by clicking on the taskbar tray icon (when minimized to tray) and do next/prev by right-clicking on it and selecting next or prev?

Also make sure you didn't activate the Equalizer in MM. If you push up all the individual sliders in the Equalizer you have to lower the master slider on the left to make sure you don't get distortion on loud tracks.

I have a sansa e140. I've set it up so it shows up as external player when I connect it. When I right click on the player in MM, or the directory below that one of the choices on that menu is Delete. I use that every time before I move a new playlist onto the player. If you haven't configured it as ...

Yes, the selected tracks seem to burn to the disc (when you look at the underside of the disc you can see something burnt) - but when i put this in the car or my pc to play it says blank disc. This is probably not the problem, but are you sure you're creating an AUDIO CD and not an MP3 CD. If you l...

Ok, I finally had the chance to install winamp with modern skin and try this out. The left panel (library) which seems to have a standard scrollbar scrolls correctly with virtual scrolling both with "scroll item under pointer" and "Scroll selected item" set. The other panels don'...

I'll give that a try. I will have to install winamp to try that though.

I've tried changing just about any setting I can find in there. Same result, no scrolling with the virtual scroll regions.

I think I have the latest driver. I'll check that and post the results.
