Re: Fast Forward / Skip to Next Song
Never mind, I figured it out. Don't use the arrows, swipe the name of the song.

Asus RT-AC87U and MM
I'm confused. I've recently attached a 4 TB drive to my Asus RT-AC87U wireless router. The wireless router has let me configure the drive as an FTP site (which I've done for backups) but will also allow me to "share media files from the USB disk via a Media Server directory, [or a] Samba share ...

Re: Crap Songs
I figured out how to rate something with half a star online. I've changed the definition of my Crap playlist to be less than one star.
It all seems to work.
(Every now and then I go to the play list and change all the ratings to zero, in case the Android client is ever changed.)

Touch Screen (Tablet) Skin
I'm looking for a skin for MediaMonkey that is designed for use on a touch screen, but is not a stripped down version of the program. Any suggestions?

Fast Forward / Skip to Next Song
I thought I knew how to skip the current song and go on to the next song on the play list, touch the ">>". Apparently I was wrong, because tonight while walking the dog instead of going to the next song, it started playing at 60 times normal speed. (The reason I know this is because it sai...

Crap Songs
I'm getting my entire library onto MediaMonkey. There are songs out there that I don't recognize, but I'm moving them over anyway. Then I created two automatic playlists. The first one is called Unrated and consists of songs with a rating of Unknown. The second one is called Crap and consists of all...

Re: Failed to download
I had this problem where some of the files didn't get synced while others did. I noticed that it happened with my Classical Music files as opposed to the Music files. I thought about it a bit more, and figured out that the problem was the folders & files that were being used on my phone. While I...

Re: Android version restarts song each time it reconnects to
I'm having the same condition happen with the latest build from the Play Store of MMA, running on a Galaxy S6, playing on a 2015 Subaru Outback. I don't think of it as a bug but a feature. The easiest way to listen to a song again is to turn off ("mute") the stereo and then turn it back on...

Last.fm question
I've installed the Last.fm app, and successfully logged into the service. I've been playing songs on the MediaMonkey Android App, but they have not been uploaded to Last.fm, nor do they appear on the list of scrobbles. Songs that I listed to several years ago do, so I know I'm connected to my accoun...

Re: Sync between PC and Android Device fails
I'm trying it. I was experimenting with Google Play Music since I had heard the least bad things about it. But it just changed a bunch of my tags, like Amazon before it. (And the Apple library trashing story makes me way to scared. Not to mention that I'd have to get a new phone.) I'll let you know ...

Sync between PC and Android Device fails
A large number of my songs on my PC do not sync to my Android device. The problem appears to be with my Classical Music, as opposed to my regular Music collection. As you're probably aware, it is very common for Classical Music files to include a long laundry list of artists for each file. (You need...

MediaMonkey in the Cloud
I'm not sure if this is doable with the current version of MediaMonkey and addins. If it is, then someone need to write up a "how to" guide for the rest of us. If it's not doable, then this is a wish list item. Currently, Amazon, Google, and Apple provide some sort of "save your music...

Pointers
Due to the prevalence of compilation and mix albums in people's collections, identical files end up duplicated within several albums. This is wasteful of space. It would be useful if MediaMonkey would replace one of the duplicates with a shortcut to the other file. To the user, it would appear as if...

Merging tags
Due to the prevalence of compilation albums in my collection, I have several versions of the identical song in different albums. (My Duplicate Content listing is close to 200 pieces of classical music alone.) Rather than merely just picking one version and deleting the rest, I'd like to be able to m...
