Re: Camera import issue after installing MediaMonkey
Auto-play doesn't kick in at all any more when the camera is connected. If I go into the Windows 7 auto-play settings, the camera doesn't show up on the list of devices. Resetting all auto-play settings to the defaults makes no difference to this. The camera does still show up in Windows Explorer, s...

Camera import issue after installing MediaMonkey
In Windows 7, when I connect my camera (a Canon IXUS 100) to my PC, Windows detects it and automatically imports new photos and videos. At least, it did until I installed MediaMonkey and now it no longer works. Windows detects the camera, but it no longer automatically imports photos/videos. I thoug...

Re: Seeing 2 copies of everything
I think someone has reported this before Me, although in my case I wasn't seeing 2 of everything. It was just random albums that were doubled up. Refreshing or switching to a different genre, then back to the original genre again solves it. I don't know what caused it, cos it was working fine for w...

Re: Albums getting split in 2 in my library
4.0.3.1476. I've found another temporary fix for this. If I am looking at hip-hop albums via the list of genres in the tree on the left, for example, and some of the album are split in 2, if I click on a different genre and then click back on hip-hop again, the split albums will be back as 1 entry a...

Albums getting split in 2 in my library
This just started happening last night. When I fire up MM, some of my albums will be split into 2 so there's 2 entries like this: - http://i.imgur.com/ePlDW.jpg If I click one entry, some of the tracks will play, then when I click the other entry, the remaining tracks will play. If I remove both ent...

Re: Disable file monitor for newly added albums?
I'm using version 4.0.3.1476. To add a new album I usually just drag the folder into "Entire Library" in the tree on the left. If I then go to Tools - Options - Library - File Monitor, a check mark will automatically have been placed next to the album I added, but I don't want this to happ...

Disable file monitor for newly added albums?
If I drag and drop an album into my library, file monitor automatically checks the box next to the folder and starts monitoring it. How can I turn this off? Thanks.

Re: Auto-update not working?
So far this feature has been useless. I get the occasional prompt to update when I'm already on the latest version. Here's one I just got now: -

Thanks, but that didn't work either. I uninstalled/reinstalled and that sorted it.

Re: [1463] Columns resize switching from window to full scre
Nope, just the main player itself. This is what happens: - 1. I start off with this. The program is maximised. The width of the centre column where all of my album art is shown is exactly wide enough so 6 albums fit across: - http://i.imgur.com/OMhyQ.jpg 2. Then I shrink the size of the player from ...

Re: Any quick way to remove numbers from artist names?
i'm such a noob with this stuff, but I downloaded and installed the program. I pointed the directory to open the folder where the offending songs are and they loaded in view. When I go to actions on the toolbar though, it's greyed out. Do you know why? http://i269.photobucket.com/albums/jj50/JCFant...

Re: Why was classical music moved to it's own tree node?
Being able to play music with MM is desirable, so make that Gold only too. The point was, you need to find the right balance of free features and features that are locked away behind the pay wall. Not being able to manage collections (i.e. your own library of music) without paying is just a c...

Re: Any quick way to remove numbers from artist names?
I don't know if you can do this with MediaMonkey, but you can do it with MP3Tag, which is also free: - http://www.mp3tag.de/en/ The following will work ONLY if each artist name has 4 characters at the beginning that you wish to remove, so for instance, you have an artist called "002.Cybersonik&...

Re: Why was classical music moved to it's own tree node?
Do you think the average user will ever change it, even if they don't like it? It's way too complicated for non-technical users. If I wasn't the sort of person that tinkers around with software for a week or two before deciding whether I like it or not, I'd have binned MediaMonkey straight away. Th...
