Re: Code Monkey - A dark skin inspired by Visual Studio

Are you still seeing that somewhere? Should have been fixed in version 1.0.55 of the addon.

Re: Metadata lookup sources are not persisted [#18146]

I think those might be two different issues. One is that changes in the sources list are not loaded when opening the dialog, the other is that all changes made to the list are completely ignored when auto-tagging files. Well, either that or I just misunderstand how the setting is supposed to work, w...

Metadata lookup sources are not persisted [#18146]

Hi, when reordering or disabling lyrics or auto-tag metadata sources in build 2424, the changes are correctly reflected on the settings page. If the SET SOURCES button is clicked a second time, all changes are set to their default settings, the previous changes are ignored. Update: It looks like cha...

Re: No support for scripts

Also have a look at the Scripts and SampleScripts folder in the MM5 installation directory, they contain a ton of already existing addons that can be used as reference.

Re: Remote Control for MediaMonkey 5

Hi Reto S., have a look at the kb article on how to set up a dlna server with mediamonkey 5, that should walk you through the process. Once that's set up you should be able to access your local instance of mediamonkey with any dlna client. I don't think that mediamonkey natively publishes a web mana...

Re: MediaMonkey 5 version number

He is probably talking about the Windows Registry. I am, thanks! I case I didn't outline well enough what I meant by 'Installation registry', I was referring to the list of installed applications, called Apps & Features in windows 10: https://i.imgur.com/GyG77Kj.jpg That information is stored in th...

Re: MediaMonkey 5 version number

Yes, I understand that. That's what I tried to address in my second post. It's not about being able to manually determine what version of mediamonkey is currently installed - which is perfectly doable, but rather about being able to avoid having to do so by providing well formatted information about...

Re: MediaMonkey 5 version number

After reading my initial post, I noticed that I only provided information about the installation workflow I used, but almost nothing about my use case in general, which could make it hard to understand why I'm even requesting this feature. I realize that mediamonkey 5 comes with a built-in update me...

MediaMonkey 5 version number [#18112]

Hi, with 5.0.1 being close to release, I'm preparing to make the jump from 4 to 5 and noticed something related to how mediamonkey handles version numbers. I wanted to make sure that the upgrade from 4 to 5 goes smoothly, so I staged my environment by installing version 4 in a virtual machine, copie...

Re: Exception when selecting all tracks in grid view [#18107]

That's weird. I managed to trigger the exception on a newly installed windows 10 VM with a fresh install of mediamonkey. Edit : I just had a quick look at the issue, and the description says to set the view to List (by Album) , which works fine for me. I can only trigger the exception when using vie...

Exception when selecting all tracks in grid view [#18107]

Hi, There is a reproducible error in revision 2420 when trying to select tracks when using grivdiew. The steps to reproduce are: - Expand the Entire Library node and select the Albums Node - Change the view to Grid (by Album) - Click on any of the available albums to expand its tracklist - Click on ...

Re: playlistSongOrder

I'm afraid the rationale behind those properties is something only the developers can explain. I just stumbled over that same property in the past, that's why I still remembered it.

Re: playlistSongOrder

The playlistSongOrder property refers to the location of a track in a playlist, not in the list of currently playing tracks. Try this: - Create a playlist - Add 3 tracks - Double click the first track to start playing the playlist - Go to the list of currently playing tracks and drag the bottommost ...

Yeah, that field is hard to read. I'll have a look at it, thanks for noticing!
