persisting multiples
I follwed the advice and checked my version. I had MM 2.53. I uninstalled it and downloaded and installed 2.5.4, rescanned the library and . . . still had multiples that grey out if selected. After going to the files to edit mode and selecting and deleting all the dead nodes I NO LONGER SEE MULTILES...

thanks for the response I appreciate the help. Obviously I do have some multiple tracks (with some songs being on different abums) but most of my multiples seem to be of the same song. that is, they have the same path. Furthermore, when you click on one with a multiple listing and choose play now on...

Multiple Entries!
I've always kept a fairly orderly music collection. I make folders by artist and put the MP3 inside the folders. Now that I'm using MM it seems to see two of almost all MP3s. I've tried deleting all items from the library and rescanning but I still get multiple entries. Any ideas about how to correc...
