How to re-download podcast/listen to old podcast?

I have some podcasts I want to download, but are now "ghosted". Clicking download does not work. What do I do to listen to old podcasts

So what do I do? How can I recover the old podcasts? So I can rate them and sync them again?

How to download "ghosted" podcasts?

I'm new to podcasts and have been using it for a month now. MM downloads and syncs the podcasts. However, I have it set to delete podcasts over a week old. This "ghosts" the listing and instead of a file name, the URL is listed. There are several that were "deleted" and I would l...

Howto automatically create a playlist for an album?

I would like to dump a bunch of albums on my Sansa e260r and have a lay list for each. I tried clicking and dragging an album on top of my Sansa playlist and it will just drop the music as part of the "Sansa" playlist. Is there a shortcut besides manually creating a "new" playlis...

Keep getting errors when syncing

I don't know if this is the same error everytime, but I keep getting and error after going mostly through the syncing process. Then the job dies and I can't finish the sync. The error windows says: There was a problem querying the database: Error executing SQL statement "UPDATE Devices SET Last...

Okay, I sorted by pathname and that made it easy to delete all those entries with the drive name. That brought my mdb file size to a nice 6Mb. I'm not sure what happened during the dbupdate.

I think now I'm set. If anyone has an explanation, I'd appreciate, for sanity's sake. :)

Okay, perhaps this is an unrelated issue, but now I have duplicates for apparently everything in my library. One is greyed out and has a path to [drivename]\music\.... The other listing is active and has a full path N:\music\.... How do I get rid of the duplicates? I would hate to do that manually f...

Thank you, folks!

My first try didn't work.

I tried again and followed the DBUpgrade faq for a manual update. Wow, my database went from 8Mb to over 12MB! MM3 now loads up and has my playlists. At first blush, it looks like I'm good to go.

Thank you again.

So I changed the .ini file to create a new mdb file. That helped me load MM. However, I have some important playlists from MM2.4 and I don't know what other info I lost from the old mdb.

Is there a way to fix the original database? What could be wrong, since it worked before?

Thank you!

Upgraded from v2.4 to v3.0, won't start

When running v3 for the first time, I get an error: There was a problem updating to the newest version of the database. It is on a networked drive. Although I haven't used MM for a while, it was working prior. Searching these forums yielded some database issues, that apparently are no longer an issu...

I'm bummed because I did that at my prior house. All rooms had at least one and often several data drops, including the garage and porch. I didn't want to mess with wireless at the time (well still don't). I just moved, so I'm stuck with wireless. I did just install in my den and family room data dr...

Thanks Lowlander. I have been cruising Cnet as one place. It's taking me a while to find the proper search terms for what I want. Another product that I found is Squeezebox 3. I'm getting used to MM, so having some sort of PC (hidden laptop) in my family room might work. I guess I would have to add ...

Thanks, BillyGates. I tend to stay away from Windows products. A dedicated PC to stream music to my stereo seems overkill, although it is more flexible than some specific product. I'll certainly look into your suggestion further. I've figured out that what I'm looking for is a 'network audio player/...
