If you rum Mediamonkey in a vmware and experience problems with Android synchronisation you might want to double check ipsettings in your vmware (NAT or bridged?) settings. Took me some time to discover the mismatch

Well,
a reboot of my S4 and(!) the Win7 64Bit server solved the WiFi Sync issue and performance via WiFi seems to be normal now.
