Re: [Req] Automatic Configurable Playlist Export
Hi, can you please elaborate which feature are you referring/missing ? Do you mean the native/vanila (already implemented) MM5 menu > File > Create Reports > Export all playlists... ? i.e. to adjust it to relative paths rather than absolute ? Or are you referring a MM4's third party addon ? Hi Lude...

[Req] Automatic Configurable Playlist Export [#17894]
My main use case for Media Monkey is to create playlists for other devices. I store all of my music on a NAS and then create playlists on that NAS for use by a hardware player. In MM4 there are the following facilities: Automatically export playlists (from named set) at shutdown. Paths in playlist f...

Re: 96 Khz crackles
Yes I agree. But my sound card is quite old - latest driver seems to be from 2008 - and it is currently using the generic MS driver.

Re: 96 Khz crackles
Yes I suppose that is possible. Maybe time for a new sound card.

96 Khz crackles
I thought I would report this minor niggle.
In all versions of MM to date there is a small problem with 24 bit 96k files. They play absolutely fine but if you change tracks or move backwards or forwards in the track there is a short crackle. 24 bit 44.1 files are fine so it seems to be the frequency.

Re: Playing DSD files on MM4
I suppose it depends on whether MM is market leading or following. And whether MM wants to be seen as fully featured.
As a starting point I would be happy for MM to recognise the format so that files appear in the catalogue and can be added to playlists.

Re: Playing DSD files on MM4
Apparently the next version of the Naim firmware (currently in beta) has support. My iBasso portable player has support.

Although we should add a request for MQA support as well

Re: Playing DSD files on MM4
Thanks.
It needs to be sooner rather than later. There is going to be lot's of support by others in the coming months.

Re: Randomise Playlist 1.3 - Updated 20/10/2010
Sorry I have been away. But now I found some time to do some investigation. I have a tree structure with most of my non-auto playlists under a node that automatically exports to a NAS at shutdown. None of these randomise. If I do a file re-scan including the NAS playlists then all of the playlists g...

Re: Randomise Playlist 1.3 - Updated 20/10/2010
Is there any news about getting this working again?
I installed it on 4.1.2.1706 but it simply didn't work.
I then uninstalled it and now it doesn't install (just gives a dumb error message).

Re: Shuffle
Thank you. I did spend some time looking but didn't find anything..
Anyway, I installed the script but it didn't work. It just leaves playlists in the same order.
I will post in the support thread for the script.
Thanks again.

Shuffle
I would like the ability to shuffle a playlist.
I copy all of my playlists onto a NAS so that my dedicated media streamer can see them.
It would be really nice if there was a right-click option to randomly shuffle the playlist.

Re: Anyone still using an MP3 player?
I bought an iBasso DX50 a few months ago. Sound quality is in a different league to those nasty Apple products. MM syncs to it perfectly although I have also moved to FLAC instead of mp3.
