Re: Variable playback speed (ex. podcasts and audiobooks)
Ok, slight correction on the Procrustes plugin - the slider doesn't exactly go away when you close the Options dialog; it hides behind the main window. I couldn't see it behind maximized MM, but when I closed and reopened MM, I noticed the slider pop up a second before the program did. So if you mov...

Re: Variable playback speed (ex. podcasts and audiobooks)
There's a plugin called Procrustes that I tried. It was recommended highly by some WinAmp users, but it's really difficult to find as it is no longer available through the WinAmp site, and the developer is nowhere to be found. Eventually I found the plugin here: http://users.hal-pc.org/~clement/Wina...

Re: Variable playback speed (ex. podcasts and audiobooks)
Just want to keep this request alive. This feature is overdue in my opinion. It would be invaluable to me to catch up on podcasts when I periodically fall behind.

Duplicate podcast downloads
Sometimes when my podcasts are being updated, the most recent episodes are downloaded twice (occasionally three times). They're identical files, usually with identical tags, although sometimes they retain their original tags instead of the MM-assigned tags. I think this is happens whenever MM checks...

Re: CopyTags error - Type mismatch: 'Song.BPM'
After more testing, I've found that this error only occurs when copying tags on albums containing tracks with multiple Artists (and possibly other fields) separated by ; .
Am I right in my hunch this is a bug in the CopyTags script, that it wasn't written to support fields with multiple entries?

CopyTags error - Type mismatch: 'Song.BPM'
I keep getting a runtime error as I'm pasting tags via the CopyTag script: Error #62 - Microsoft VBScript runtime error Type mismatch: 'Song.BPM' File: "C:\Program Files (x86)\MediaMonkey\Scripts\Auto\CopyTags.vbs", Line: 1030, Column: 30 I made sure I had the latest version of the script ...

Convert multi-disc track# to disc# & track#
I have all my multi-disc albums organized as such in 3-digit track numbers (201 for disc 2 track 1, etc.) - I use this method both in the track# tag and in the filename. Now that I've switched to MM3, I want to convert that information to use the disc# tag. Can I use Auto-Tag from Filename to extrac...

the solution
Well, my first experience here on the forum wasn't very fruitful, but I found the solution to the problem myself. To get the custom tag info entered in Mp3tag to show up in MediaMonkey: 1) Rename the files through Mp3tag using the Tag -> Filename option. Use whatever tag info you normally use to nam...

Custom fields & mp3tag
I use Mp3tag a lot to enter tag information, and it has worked well with MM, except when it comes to MM custom fields. I entered a tag in MM in the Custom 3 field, and found the name of the tag in Mp3tag (COMMENT SONGS-DB_CUSTOM3). I used that to create a new column in Mp3tag to easily enter the tag...
