Help Content generates Fatal Error: Uncaught Error

I was trying to access Help/Help Content to research what some of the terms mean in Playlist Syncing (to device). (I've not imported playlists to my Ipod yet, and want to learn how and what the options mean). Anyway, clicking on Help/Help Content generated this error when launching Firefox: Fatal er...

Re: Is there a way to move a song Up or Down within a Playlist in MM?

This is not (I don't believe) an auto-playlist, which I am given to understand is either automatically created by the system defaults or by some user defined criteria. I created the playlist by Right-clicking on the song, selecting "send to", then "Playlist," then "New Playlist." Subsequently, using...

Re: Do you use Media Monkey? Why?

A couple of reasons. First, I just plain hate the way Itunes works & everything is proprietary. But MOSTLY, if I get a new computer or MP3 player, I don't want to have to "authorize" it to Apple (and there's some kind of upper limit on the number of times you can do that). When I buy something, it's...

Is there a way to move a song Up or Down within a Playlist in MM?

I have a MM playlist to which I've just added a song. Naturally, the song appears at the bottom of the playlist. Is there a way to move the song Up (to, say position 3) within the playlist? I've tried dragging & dropping, but that doesn't do anything. Thanks.

Re: Net Radio "Favorite Stations"

Beats the heck out of me, but now it is working! I think there must've been a problem with the "Naim Exclusive Radio Paradise" station - perhaps connection problems... but the weirdness has disappeared. FYI, I think the problem I was having with the Celtic Moon radio station was either that I saved ...

Re: Net Radio "Favorite Stations"

The interesting data is SO far down (Sorry, I should have had MMW come up already on Playlist, rather than Music... it did "checking" on over 3,000 songs first). You might go down to where the URL for Radio Paradise appears 37.130.228.60:8014 FYI, the previous song in the now playing section was fro...

Re: Net Radio "Favorite Stations"

Okie-dokie. I've got a log and sent it in under ticket: #MXR-192-36593 Logfile is log20180626a.log (well, inside a .zip) May I assume it is OK to continue to execute the Media Monkey Debug version (which overwrite the my current version, I believe) even when no debugging is necessary? (it's not goin...

Re: Net Radio "Favorite Stations"

Oh...I went straight to 4B. Maybe I need to download and execute the MMW debug program at the top of item 4 first? Thanks.

Re: Net Radio "Favorite Stations"

Sorry, but the debug program's Help Manual is in the .chm format which Windows doesn't support in their newer OS's, so I'm just guessing how to operate the debugger. I opened a log file, executed MMW and clicked on a few things (tried to play the radio station playlist), exited MMW. Then browsed the...

Re: Net Radio "Favorite Stations"

I've waited as long as 17 minutes. I've noticed something else. When I initially double-click the "track" or alternatively hit Play, the play button immediately changes to the Pause key for 3 seconds, then changes back to the Play key. Any secondary attempt clicking on the Play button changes to Pau...

Re: Net Radio "Favorite Stations"

Not sure what I was doing wrong... Media Monkey completely locked up 3 times (had to use Task Manager to kill the app), but I finally got it to work and have saved the station as a "song" in a playlist. I then renamed the song Title that was playing to "Radio Paradise." I THINK there are a couple of...

Re: Net Radio "Favorite Stations"

An addendum to the above reply. Closing and restarting MM fixed the "not able to play anything" glitch. FYI, I looked up my default .Mxx applications using the Win 10 Settings screen. Here's the default media types I found by application: Windows Media Player: .m1v (Movie Clip), .m2v (Movie Clip), ....
