Re: Sub menue opens 'outside' desktop (once)

Unfortunately MiPi is right. And to make the story worse i have to tell about the following. Now with 2227 even the main menu will open out of the desktop, when you place the cursor far right. Sorry guys.

Nontheless i like your work on MM5.

Greetings

Sub menue opens 'outside' desktop (once)

Hi there, when i click on a track in the playing list (in my personal view in the right panel) to get the 'find more from' option the sub menue which offer the different possibilities like album, performer, composer etc opens outside the current desktop. I am using mm5 latest build 2226 material des...

Re: Scan results dialog not shown [#16333]

Hi there, i have encountered this ghosted Mediamonkey as well while rescanning an external usb drive. Adding the external drive to the locations and chose "continously" instead of "manual" was causing a mistake. So i left it to "manual". Starting the rescan led to the ghosted MM. Then i did a databa...

Re: 2191 - Memory read error on Windows shutdown or restart

Same here. It is really annoying. Especially when you are late leaving the house ;-). By the way the current release 2219 seems to have more problems on my system. Even the white screen was back (Barry told about it too). But this is not the day for complaining :-). I wish all the diligent developer...

Re: Possible to have scroll to current track feature in Now Playing?

Hi there Paul,

you could set a hotkey to "focus tracklist on currently playing item". Available under Options/General/Hotkeys. If this is what you are looking for.

Greetings from Berlin

Confirmation window resizes itself

Hi staff, deleting entries from the playing list the confirmation window (delete only from playlist, delete from library, delete from computer too) resizes itself from normal to a very small size. The width is reduced to the length of the yes and no buttons. It reduces itself after opening. So i see...

Re: MediaMonkey auf deutsch

Hallo,

Re: External tags not visible when tracks are stored on network drives

Oh my. I have to send a big sorry first. After a restart of the computer all seems okay. Moving the tracks from the usb drive to the Synology NAS took several hours, so i did that over night and did not restart the system. The day after i did. I don't know why this special behaviour occurred, but i ...

[SOLVED] External tags not visible when tracks are stored on network drives

Hi there, I seldom ripped classical music in times of MM4, because it could not show other tags than its own. Up to now the tracks of my classical collection are stored on an external sdd usb drive. For this 1 TB drive will be running out of space and sdds are still quite expensive I decided to move...

Re: MM5 contextual search could learn something from Sonos (?)

Oh, now i understand what you mean with contextual. I have to admit i never used that in mm 4 neither. There is a simple reason: it is too much typing and i feel like in a dos environment. I never found it comfortable or attractive. So i don't use it in mm5 either (or neither? i have to visit the gr...

Re: MM5 contextual search could learn something from Sonos (?)

Guys, when i type "du pre" in the search window i get 692 results, but only 172 are tracks with Jaqueline du Pré as an artist. Same with "du pré". What did i misunderstood in your discussion? :D :D The meaningful use of Sonos (which i have spread over my appartment too) ended when my collection surp...

Re: MM5 is a disappointing "fail" for a just-click-to-navigate user

Hi staff, hi Barry, because of Barry i changed the current language of MM5 from german to english. This way i could follow what Barry is pointing out (okay, it makes it easier for me too to give my little input). Yes, Barry's contributions need a hell of time to read. So i understand the staff not t...
