Re: Bugs in Web node [5.0.1.2412]

Here is the link to the debug log: https://www.magentacloud.de/lnk/yVBJJYqL To see the bug is very straightforward here: Open a 2nd tab at the top of the MM5 window (by pressing "+"). Have one tab showing a web page, the other a playlist. When you now click on the web tab and then on the playlist ta...

Re: Bugs in Web node [5.0.1.2412]

I can confirm 1. with 2415. The tab that represents the Web remains open and in front even when I click on a tab with music. I can only see the music tab when I close the Web tab, but not by switching from one tab to the other. I cannot confirm 2. Removing Amazon from Web means that it is permanentl...

Re: Problem with editing tags of multiple files

I agree that the UI could be clearer here and in other situations, too. This could have saved me a lot of time. As I am working a lot currently with MMW5 the learning curve is quite steep - I hope I will know my way around in the next time. For someone who doesn't spend so much time with this softwa...

Re: Problem with editing tags of multiple files

The problem here was that some of my Christmas CDs were tagged "Classical Music" which I had totally overlooked. As I don't have any (other) classical music in my collection (and also no videos, podcasts, etc.) I just didn't expect anything else than "Music". What was surprising to me, though, was t...

Re: Problem with editing tags of multiple files

Wow, that did it! Strange enough that some songs did not have the Music Type property.

Thank you so much, I would never have found this out on my own!

[SOLVED] Problem with editing tags of multiple files

I am in the tree in Music - All Tracks. I mark a number of files, right click, select "Properties". Most of the time I see this which is all right: https://live.staticflickr.com/65535/51216445093_217bd024ba_z.jpg But often I get this, which is bad: https://live.staticflickr.com/65535/51216238566_a17...

Re: Auto-Organize: Create sub-folders only when Disc # is empty or zero

The reason for this is mostly to have the tracks better organized in Windows Explorer which takes account of the Track# but ignores the Disc# and shows the songs alphabetically starting with all songs with track#1, then 2 and so on, just a mess. While your solution is not exactly what I thought abou...

Auto-Organize: Create sub-folders only when Disc # is empty or zero

I need some help with auto-organize but I am not sure if what I am looking for can be accomplished at all. What I want is that with multi-disc albums sub-folders are created which look like \Fleetwood Mac\Rumours (Deluxe Edition)\ Disc No. 1 \01 Fleetwood Mac - Second Hand News (2004 Remaster).flac ...

In Artists view some songs are not shown with multiple disc albums [#17959]

Media Tree => select "Artist" => klick on an artist picture => click on an album that has multiple discs The area with the songs is not shown in full, the lower end is cut off, this can lead to some songs not be shown at all (and can't be selected). I also didn't find a way to change the size to sho...

Re: [REQ] "Years" collection should be based on "original date" as an option

You are right, the sub-node in the media tree is what I mean. I would like to see the same sub-sub-nodes for the decades as with "Years" but based on "Original Date".

[REQ] "Years" collection should be based on "original date" as an option [#17947]

There is the collection "Years" as part of the "Music" collection. This is automatically sorted by decades (and "unknown") which I really like. Unfortunately it is based on the "date" tag and not "original date". I have different versions of many albums and "original date" means when the album was p...
