Long time MM user. Finally found something to like about MM 5. It installed beside MM 4, instead of replacing it, so I can uninstall MM 5 and keep using the one I like.

What happened to combined Artist and Album list? It was all I used. Can I go back to v. 4?

I finally reinstalled Windows 10 (the Bill Gates solution) and problem went away. Thanks to all who tried to help.

I went through all of the steps to create a support ticket but it did not seem to work; i.e, I can't find it anywhere.

How do I attach a debug file?

I read up on DBGView online and fear that it is well beyond my technical expertise.

Ran debug version but no mediamonkey.elf file was created. It simply displays the error and aborts. This error also was reported by bsomberg2 » Sat Feb 11, 2017 11:38 pm. Long-time user now getting "Error during creation of the main window" on attempted launch and the launch aborts. Have uninstalled and reinstalled twice, the last time using Iolo's Revo Uninstaller to remove any leftovers and rebooting before reinstalling. No change at all. Using Windows 10...
