Re: MM4 and FLV Files

thanks, i have installed the MM4 codec pak but MM4 does not have the .flv file extension in the list of file types so cannot import the files. Sorry, you are right. Did not read your post careful enough: MM does not recognize and add them to the library at all. It just plays all flv without problem...

Re: MM4 and FLV Files

Not sure on what MM relies to play different video codecs. But I found two ways that work well here* for flv: 1. MM4 + Codec Pack 1.06 or 2. MM4 without Codec Pack 1.06 but with K-Lite Codec Pack (Full) installed. http://www.codecguide.com/download_kl.htm Maybe your have some broken video codecs on ...

MM4 video-specific fields sort only ascending [#7096]

Version 1342/1.06
New video-specific columns sort only one way: ascending
How to reproduce:
Go to any subnode of the Video node and try sorting fields (columns) like "Series", "Producer", "Episode#" etc. .
Sort any of these fields and try to reverse the sorting to descending.

Re: No sound with video playback from DVD (1342)

Lowlander wrote:I haven't figured out how to play a DVD in the first place with MediaMonkey.
So far I found 2 (not so elegant) ways:
1. From the windows file-manager context menu (right mouse button): "Play DVD with Mediamonkey"
2. Play the "VIDEO_TS.IFO" in Mediamonkeys "My Computer" tree

Sound is ok.

Works ok here. No general problem perhaps. (version 4.0.0.1339)

Re: MM 4 Alpha Testing

Video playback doesn't seem to work here: MM crashes when I try a video on it. Video works pretty well here and I am already busy to reorganize my video-collection with it. A few errors here and there, but no severe problems as far as i can tell. I follow all developer builds, but will keep silent ...

Solved: Blank, unknown or silly bitrates and/or length

During maintenance of my library I noticed that some of my mp3 have this problem: - Bitrate or length blank/unknown - or bitrate gone completely haywire ("1791617" for example) Most of them play ok as far as i can see, but surely something is corrupt in the files. Here is an easy and fast way to fix...

Many thanks, gernot08! I found no specific info for the "track properties" window and did not try that one.

Move forward/backward in track properties

A hot key for moving forward/backward to the next/previous track would be convenient in the "Track Properties" window. At the moment one has to use the mouse and hit the little arrows at the bottom <- -> . Since editing track properties is mostly done with the keyboard, it would be nice not to have ...

1248 Editing Artist or Album Artist in the left node

I chose to show Artist and Album Artist as separate nodes [..and not the usual "Artist & Album Artist"-node] Editing an Artist directly in the left Artist-node or Editing an Album Artist directly in the left Album Artist-node always changes the Artist and the Album Artist. Is that intended behaviour...

1248. Send to folder (copy). Bug?

Using "Send to..." > "folder (move)" the library is updated.
Using "Send to..." > "folder (copy)" the library is not updated. (A rescan of the folder ist necessary)
I guess its not intended like that?
