Auto-Tag Not Highlighting Disc # Changes [#11056]

Has anyone else noticed that in the Auto-Tag window the changes to Disc # are not highlighted?

Re: Search Script "Invalid pointer operation"

Can somebody, please, reproduce this and give it a bug number?

No.
I have it installed and it says 1.0 in the Extensions window.

Maybe try uninstalling it first.

Yeah, I used Script.UnRegisterAllEvents, but it didn't work.

Search Script "Invalid pointer operation"

When a Search Script calls SDB.ProcessMessages from a timer and the Auto-tag window is closed MM throws an error: Error executing script event Invalid pointer operation This is a sample script: Dim bHalt bHalt = False Sub StartSearch(oPanel, sSearchTerm, sSearchArtist, sSearchAlbum) Script.RegisterE...

Re: iTunesMonkey 1.0 + Acoustid

Is it possible to get this information unchanged from the source: "De La Soul feat. Yummy" and not with a semicolon between the two artists? I didn't remember why I did it that way. I mean, I like it that way, I separate the artists in my collection and the album artist usually tells me who's the m...

Re: iTunesMonkey 1.0 + Acoustid

If I do a search in MediaMonkey and then press CTRL-L on a few of the found tracks, the sort order in the preview part of your script seems always to by 'by track title', regardless how they have been sorted before. Scripts do not have any power over that. MediaMonkey must have thought that it was ...

Re: iTunesMonkey 1.0 + Acoustid

I see you've gotten to a point where most of the mass-tagging is done and now a more detailed approach is needed, so now you're finding the limitations of this humble script. There are some tricks that may help you. I hope. a) If I call your script for an entire album and the result will show tracks...

Auto-Tag button event

Hi, I created a Search Script, iTunesMonkey , and as far as I know, it's the only one that presents multiple albums at the same time in the results. I cannot use SDB.Tools.WebSearch.AlbumArtURL to assign the images because there are different ones for different tracks. MM doesn't provide an event to...

Re: iTunesMonkey 1.0 + Acoustid

...A quick peek into MusicBrainzTaggerNGS.vbs tells me they agree with my assessment, CoverArtArchive is not very effective right now. What they do is, if an album metadata in MusicBrainz has an ASIN number they just link to it's Amazon picture. I don't think this is the right solution for my script...

Re: iTunesMonkey 1.0 + Acoustid

I'm just curious: Why not use the artwork from the linked Cover Art Archive? Thank you for always providing good questions. I actually made the code able to show multiple artworks for the same album because I was sure I was going to use the Cover Art Archive to get artworks for the MusicBrainz meta...

Re: iTunesMonkey 1.0 + Acoustid

I forgot to answer a couple of questions. When do you set a track with the (yellow) 'to change' flag? As explained in my previous post, there is a ranking system to determine the best match. The system gives a score to the match, represented by the colored bars next to the title. In the iTunesMonkey...

Re: iTunesMonkey 1.0 + Acoustid

Most users just want a script to work, and I wanted those users to be happy with an intuitive and simple script. An avid, power-user like you, MMuser2011, is also very welcome to use it, so I'll give some details of the inner workings of the script. The post will be a little long, but I'm sure you'l...

Re: iTunesMonkey 1.0 + Acoustid

Your script is incredible helpful!! Wow, in bold letter. I'm truly glad you're getting good results! Could you please check this little inconsistency Well, it bugs me to have made a mistake like that, but sure, that should be easy enough to fix. To fix it I need to reproduce the problem, so, I need...
