Re: Last.FM Node: dynamic node based on last.fm 2009.08.17 [

I would recommend you keep the 'limit available tracks' to 30 to 50 for best results. In most cases, lastfm will return a list of about 250 tracks, the above option will limit the number of tracks *found in your library*. So if lastfm returns 250, your library has 100 of those 250, and you set that ...

Re: Last.FM Node: dynamic node based on last.fm 2009.08.17 [

it still works fine for me, but it looks like there is simply no similar tracks (yet) for that song

http://www.last.fm/music/Tanita+Tikaram ... n/+similar

It is either too new, or not popular enough, or last fm has not generated the similar tracks data yet.

Re: FLAC Lossless Uncompressed

I read parts of the thread, this in particular was pretty hilarious.. I understand your "bits is bits" position, you've made it several times....I just don't agree at all with it...it's clearly debatable (hundreds of posts about wav vs "x" on many sites)..it's not empirical. I hear cable differences...

Re: 320 or FLAC?

mediamonkey does support flac 'insane' is a lame preset type, its not from mediamonkey but from the lame mp3 encoder itself. I suggest you start @ http://wiki.hydrogenaudio.org/index.php?title=Audio_format_guide and read through the various other articles there regarding flac/lossless and mp3/lossy ...

not really.

you might check out portable mode in mm 4, but that is not any type of syncronization.

Ludek wrote:In portable mode it is intended behaviour, but if you haven't installed MM in portable mode then it shouldn't happen.

Why would this happen in portable mode? isn't the objective of portable mode not to leave any residual on the host system?

Re: SQL table items, self referring to each other

_id pid cid position# 0 0 1 1 1 0 2 2 2 0 3 3 3 1 0 2 4 1 2 3 5 1 3 1 6 2 1 3 7 2 0 2 8 2 3 1 9 3 2 1 10 3 1 3 11 3 0 2 So this looks like what I need, the position column represents the order of the child relative to the root/parent. I think for now, all I will need to work with is finding an item...

Re: SQL table items, self referring to each other

Yes but each item can be related to multiple other items (none, some or all) I was thinking something like the below, but that seems really in-elegant. _id parentId childId 0 0 1 1 0 2 2 0 3 3 1 0 4 1 2 5 1 3 6 2 1 7 2 0 8 2 3 9 3 2 10 3 1 11 3 0 It seems like all the examples I can find in google, ...

Re: Lost Installation Executable

just download the installer from the download page linked at the top of the forum, then you can use your registration key.

if you have problems with your registration key, you should open a support ticket and put your details in the ticket (don't post your reg key or any other private info here).

SQL table items, self referring to each other

I'm trying to figure out how best to implement something in a sqlite database... let's say I have 10 items in a table 0 item1 1 item2 2 item3 3 item4 4 item5 5 item6 6 item7 7 item8 8 item9 9 item10 each of these items is related to other items in the same list (only once each), but could have none,...

Re: [1415] Error trying to rip Audio CDs.

also having problems with 1415 and cd's.

I don't use mm to rip, and when I insert a cd with MM4-1415 running it causes all other programs to lose access to cd rom.
