Re: Issues with iTunes Conversion - tags/data

That is where the problem lies. You'll need to point MediaMonkey to the original iTunes media files as this is what iTunes has information on. So first scan the iTunes files and make sure the tags work. If the tags work, you could use Tools > Auto-Organize Files set to Copy to have MediaMonkey creat...

Re: Issues with iTunes Conversion - tags/data

No, 1) Use File > Clear database 2) Scan the files where iTunes had them located 3) Let it import from iTunes This should get you the tags from iTunes for the files. The problem then becomes, do you want to have 2 copies of the files or migrate from iTunes keeping 1 copy. Tools > Auto-Organize Files...

The problem occurs when using a large source for Auto-DJ, not a large Playing queue.

Re: Issues with iTunes Conversion - tags/data

When I started I copied over the media file to a separate database for MediaMonkey. So I have the iTunes database and the MediaMonkey database. I pointed MediaMonkey to the MediaMonkey database. That's the problem. As you're importing the iTunes XML it will have information about the iTunes Media F...

Re: Export/Import Playlists Version 5.4.1

Just scan the location with the M3U files (File > Add/Rescan Files) and they'll be added to the Playlists > Imported Playlists node in the Media Tree.

Re: How to transfer to WD My Cloud?

Ripped files would be stored wherever you told MediaMonkey to store the files. In MediaMonkey right click on a ripped files and use Find More from Same > Folder (Explorer) to open the folder the file is in with File Explorer to know where this is.

Re: Accessing music library on wd my cloud

Sonos, Spotify and such often use proprietary solutions. MediaMonkey uses the industry standard DLNA, but either your Router or the drive would need to support this. Note that MediaMonkey on a PC that can access the files on the drive (via the File share) would also be able to act as a DLNA Server f...

Does the Router or the WD have an DLNA Server? If so you can access it through UPnP in MMA.

Re: Moving MediaMonkey from one PC to another

Yes, Playlists are in the database, thus if the correct database was copied from the old to new PC the Playlists on your old MediaMonkey install will be there. If the Playlists are missing you probably used the wrong database file. On old PC search for mm.db (including hidden files) and sort on Date...

Re: Which Gold Flavor

MediaMonkey 4 currently will only get critical updates in most cases. MediaMonkey 5 is nearing completion (you can test out: https://www.mediamonkey.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=30&t=86639). A free upgrade offer may be available for recent MediaMonkey 4 purchases on release of MediaMonkey 5, but there ...
