Teknojnky - If the art was not embedded could this have been avoided? Maybe that is the better way to use the art.
Bex - thanks for your input. I will give the Advance Duplicate script a try.

really, if all you want is art, then trixmoto's batch art finder or google art finder are the way to go. Teknojnky - those are both fine scripts and have used them extensively to find art for my 7000 song library (thanks Trixmoto). Having spent all the time already doing this, I would like to avoid...

Try to Use few backup files and Rescan That Folder with enabled tools->Options->Library->Update Tag Info On Rescan and disable Only for tracks that have changed timestamps so that all files update. Please report back. I'm sorry for loosing Album Art :( and this should solve the problem. Peke no nee...

Transfer Embedded Art
Due to my own mistake in using the clear tags function I lost all my album art. ( http://www.mediamonkey.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=15056&start=15 ) I was able to correct a major problem with the tags of my tracks so I would like to keep them as they are. I have a backup folder of all my tracks. This...

Preliminary results are that Peke's fix has corrected the displayed track length in MediaMonkey. I have not tried syncing to the ipod yet, however. One major problem though is that in the process, I have lost my artwork! :o I guess this is understood when you clear tags, but I did not realize that. ...

Did some more searching and found this solution by Peke: http://www.mediamonkey.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=17695&highlight=length Have you tried with MM tools->Advanced Tag Managment->Clean ID3v1 and ID3v2? After that use tools->Advanced Tag Managment->Synchronize Tags to save tags again in files? No...

I am having the same problem.
I tried using VBRFix some time ago and still had the same issue. Other players, however, recognize the correct track length.

Any help on this would be greatly appreciated. I have always noticed MediaMonkey has some song lengths incorrect. This was not really much of an issue for me as the entire songs always played just fine. Now, however, when they are played on my ipod, the tracks only play for the short length listed i...

vs. AutoRateAccurate
Sorry - I think this was discussed somewhere before, but I could not find it.
Could someone highlight, in terms of "auto rating" of tracks what the difference is between DiddeLeeDoo's script and BigBerney's 'AutoRateAccurate'?
Will either one change manually selected song ratings?
Thanks.

Re: Pictures not displaying
I had the same problem when I first installed it. I believe the default directory under the MonkeyRok settings is C:\Temp - check to make sure that the directory exists on your computer and create it if it does not. That solved it for me. Cheers. Fedaykin - This was it - pictures now work. Thanks. ...

Pictures not displaying
Hi Trixmoto - thanks for another great script.
The art is not displaying in the monkeyrok panel. Just white squares with small "x" in the center. All my songs do have art associated with them. (thanks to your google art finder!)
