Web Sources Tagger

"Web Sources Tagger" should end up being a wonderful tool! I absolutely love it!!! But, it's still in its infancy, and it needs some minor improvements. Here are some suggestions and issues: ----------------------------------------------------- 1) I sometimes get this error: "An error has occurred w...

Generic version of Steegy's script...

The following is a generic version of Steegy's script. It can be easily modified to open a selected file into any external app using MediaMonkey's right-click context menu. To use: 1) Create a new textfile in the "...\MediaMonkey\Scripts\Auto" folder. 2) Copy the code below into the new textfile. 3)...

Preferably with a checkbox for "change this row"

The confirmation grid should feature a checkbox in the first column of each row that determines whether the row in question will be updated on click OK.

Script featuring an editable confirmation grid?

Does anyone have a sample VBScript that features an editable confirmation list similar to "Auto-Organize Files" or "Auto-Tag from Filename"? (Or, the actual code from either of those?) NOTE: I don't want a clunky series of textboxes. I want an editable grid, darnit! (I have accumulated several worth...

Auto-Orgranzie (ie, Rename) Buddy Files (namely album art)

Wishing for a tool to help auto-orgranize/rename buddy files using the tag fields in associated music files. Particularly, I would like to be able to rename art files (*.jp*; *.?if*; *.png; *.bmp) when the art files exist in the same folder as the associated music files. ART FILES: Often, I art file...

I think this needs some attention..."ResolveDuplctFilen

Auto-Organize would definitely benefit from a "ResolveDuplicateFilenames" feature. That would make it much more automatic, wouldn't it? :) Some may prefer to enumerate duplicates with a user-defined format, such as "<filename (<enum>).<ext>" or "<filename> <enum>.<ext>". But, personally, I prefer to...

"Why the need for Shell Access for Rename/Tag functions

Well, with a fairly large database (10,000 plus files), I have yet to tag/rename everything to my liking. Yes, the ideal way is to tag/rename files is from within MediaMonkey itself. However, more than occasionally, I discover files that I'd like to rename while I'm viewing them in Windows Explorer....

Thanks for the image dimensions! (...plus some suggestions)

I downloaded the script about 2 or 3 weeks ago and wasn't aware that there was a recent update. Looks like part of my request for image dimensions had already been addressed. Great concept -- needs improvement (incl. Size specs and GUI

I like the concept of the Batch Art Finder, but it is still an early product that needs some improvement. 1) First of the all, the GUI is not entirely intuitive. It takes some trial and error to figure out exactly what "Try Again", "Remove", and "Save" do. * "Remove" sounds like it should remove any...

AutoTag from Amazon: Technique for improving search results?

1) How does AutoTag search Amazon? 2) What fields can you search for? (I know you support artist & album -- what about song, year, etc?) 3) Is there a technique improving search results? 4) Is there a certain way to format the search string? (e.g., "[Artist] - [Album] - [Song] - [Year]") 5) Does it ...
