It's used for showing ... because even if you'll filter only specific artist tracks, in MM we must show that track XYZ has more than one artist (in your query you'll see only one artist, but track can have more than one artists defined) .. for this reason we're using this text fields (as some kind ...

I guess the problem I'm getting at is that I can see the possibilities of storing one file and having some type of XML or ASX file to keep albums together or tag a file for multiple albums (i.e. Album 1, Soundtrack X, and Greatest Hits), I am sorry, but I not sure that I understand what you suggest...

The biggest flaw, I can see is making this system as something that might work beyond Media Monkey... In other words, besides creating the XML file or whatever buddy file you create, you would need to be thorough enough, so that it might be useful for all audio formats and all audio programs. More ...

These fields are used only for loading tracks into tracklist. It's much faster to load 100t tracks only from one table than from 3 or more tables using joins. Let say that I want to display only songs where artist is Paul McCartney. He has many songs in duet with another artists, names are separate...

Artist, Genre fields in Songs table is used for performance reason. Also artists/genres assigned to track you can read from ArtistsSongs/GenresSongs tables. It is questionable that work with textual fields are faster than numerical fields. If you want to change one artist name, you need to replace ...

That's probably the best tagging system i have seen. What software did you get this screenshot from?
Well, I don't want to advertise another media catalog software in this forum, so I am answering you with private message.

AAC+ (aacPlus / HE-AAC) wrong bitrate, songlength?

I tried to find some similar post in this forum, but I didn't found any related. So, could someone tell me if I am doing something wrong or MM 3.0.0.1045 Alpha wrongly detect bitrate and song length of AAC+ files downloaded from Internet radio stations. With files generated, let say, with CT AAC enc...

So consider this a post one more vote to implement this! ... Screwing up the file system with these shortcuts without a standardized and accepted file format like .vmp3 might be bad...but I'd like some sort of implementation for this, ... Count my post as one more vote for this. I came to same idea...

Re: MM 3 beta and magic nodes

I just finshed modification of Magic Nodes sript to enable its work with current alpha version of MediaMonkey. Now, I am wainting an answer from Pablo, author of this script, about its opinion of this. Well, there is some discutable decisions with new MM version: 1. Abandoned MS Access database form...

Re: MagicNodes.1.3c.vbs

"The object doesn't support the method: 'SDB.IniFile.BoolValue' Have I done anything wrong? Well, I really don't know. It works on several computers. This method can be found inside of the MediaMonkeyScripting.chm, so I suppose it is standard part of the MM scripting. What version of MM you are usi...

Here is the unofficial code produced by ZvezdanD for those who are interested: http://trixmoto.net/files/MagicNodes.1.3c.vbs I should say that it is based on last official release 1.3b, and I renamed it to 1.3c. There is only one small note. If you compare my file with original, you'll find too man...

Its perfectly OK just to copy/paste the full .vbs into this thread! Thanks! /Bex Sorry Bex. I tried several times to post the full script, but everytime my messages was truncated, so I deleted them. I think the script is very long for this server (73 kB). Do you know any solution for this? Maybe I ...
