Re: The GOOD things about MMA

I like this thread for counting our blessings! I like the ability to edit the Now Playing list, including drag-and-drop ordering, as noted above. Multi-select within track lists is great. Editing track properties, including rating, on the device is awesome. Someday being able to sync via WiFi, once ...

Re: How to Play songs from Phone with mma and mm 4beta

Got it. That makes sense. What doesn't make sense is why you can't do that. I would expect MMW to read the music on the phone as if it were a connected drive.

Re: How to Play songs from Phone with mma and mm 4beta

Strange -- I hadn't noticed this before. I don't really have a need to play music from my phone on my computer. But sure enough, when I try to do it MMW responds the same way it does when you try to play music from the library -- turn the library item grey and try the next song in Now Playing, with ...

Re: [REQ] Use swipe to preview rather than skip

I like this idea, and would pair it with another suggestion. Side-swiping the album cover to reveal the lyrics has always been awkward to me. Isn't it more standard to have skip fwd/back on the album cover side-swipe? I think that is more friendly for look-less operation (as in a car), too. It would...

Re: Better UI for sync-delete confirm

I like this idea. Good point, Lowlander -- not all tracks on an album need to be deleted. But if the tracks were grouped by album, or if the interface showed the albums with count of tracks for deletion, it would make it a lot simpler to go through a long list.

Re: Syncing Copies All Tracks Again

As I troubleshoot this further, I guess I'll put my comments here since they are more specific to the topic of duplication of tracks. The song that was being copied when I killed the WiFi sync yesterday was "Amanda" by Boston. When I go into that artist on MMA I see three tracks: "Amanda" x2 and "We...

Re: Syncing Copies All Tracks Again

I am having this issue via WiFi on builds 1625 and 104. Original sync was via USB. See my additional comments in http://www.mediamonkey.com/forum/viewto ... 21&t=70329

Re: "Connecting..." forever!

Wanted to report back on this... In the afternoon it finally moved past the "Connecting..." screen (I don't know what changed to achieve this) and began calculating the sync list. I laid down for a nap and two hours later it had just started downloading songs and was on about 200 of a calculated 625...

I was having this error but have not had it since upgrading to the latest build. (Galaxy Note, Gingerbread)

Re: MMA Wireless and USB Sync

I am also having issues with the WiFi vs. USB sync, although I haven't been able to characterize them in as much detail as BigInJapan. The dichotomy between profiles is confusing. Yesterday I deleted a number of additional profiles that appeared to have been created for the internal storage and card...

"Connecting..." forever!

I have spent most of the day trying to get WiFi sync to work. I've had this same problem with both the 1624 and 1625 builds today. I have 102 on my phone. I have set up and successfully synced my 64GB card in my Samsung Note via WiFi before. Now, though, regardless of how I initialize the sync from ...

Re: Import playlists from 4.0?

Thanks, Lowlander! That saved me an hour or more of effort. I really appreciate you taking the time to respond to me.

Would there be any benefit (or downside) in copying over the MediaMonkey.ini also?

Import playlists from 4.0?

I have installed 4.1 in portable mode, primarily so that I can try out MM Android. It found all of my music and appears to have carried over a number of my settings from the 4.0 version that is also installed on my computer (although not all), but it did not bring over my playlists. Should it bring ...

Re: Please Include ...

Until such capability is available (or until I learn about the existing capability that everyone else knows about and is laughing about as I type this here), here are some of my wish list items, as of build 0098. (And for context, I should start with "I love MMA! Already tons of great functionality,...
