Re: [BUG] Wifi sync failure

If I disable confirm delete, I don't get a force close. Thanks for the tip. That got me pointed in the right direction, but I found I had to disable the "Delete Unselected Content" option entirely. Just disabling the confirmation still led to FC for me. I've got a sync running now. It's bringing ab...

Re: Ratings disapper

On my GIngerbread device, I lost my ratings when I went to 145.

Re: MMA creates new Device Profiles [#10921]

It happened again when I went to 1644 / 145. I'm having other problems in 145 though, so I don't know if this is the best test case.

Re: [BUG] Wifi sync failure

Failing here too. It gets to the end of the Analyzing bar. Then a debug log notification pops up. Then a force close.

Re: Play lists disappear randomly

When you say "I sometimes find that this doesn't clear them from the Android mediastore", do you mean that using delete in MMA removes the file from the database but does not delete them from the internal/external sd card? Not exactly. When I use wifi sync, I don't ever see the actual playlist file...

Re: Play lists disappear randomly

The db file is in MediaMonkey\files If you want a work around, the only thing I find to reliably resolve playlist issues right now is to make sure they're deleted from both MMA and the Android mediastore and then sync them over again. You would just be clearing the playlists out of the databases, no...

Re: [REQ] Comments/Review track

Since tag edits seem to sync back from MMA to MMW pretty reliably for me, I stick ;Fix on the end of my Genre tag for this. I add it to the end of the existing Genre so that I don't lose that info. In MMW, I have an autolist that just searches for Genre = Fix. Any lists that sync to the portables fi...

Re: Sync Playlists

In 142, I still see the issue that PhilDG originally reported here. The only way I can keep my playlists up to date is if I delete them before each sync and re-download them. To be clear, I'm not deleting or re-downloading the tracks, just the playlists. I'm syncing 4 auto-playlists. The overall con...

Re: A few (pretty major) issues with MMA

Also, MMA can still see and play the playlists after deleting them from the phone with Total Commander. I'm pretty sure MMA is using database playlists rather than .M3U files. In other words, you shouldn't expect the deletion of an .m3u file to cause a playlist to go away in MMA. You would have to ...

Rating and playcount are correctly updated via wifi sync for me as well.

Re: Feature request - ratings optimiser

This is an interesting idea. Personally, I don't think I would use it. Rating is often a factor in my autolists, and I would probably rather retain explicit control of it. I could see there being a group of users though who would rather have that tag managed indirectly in some manner.

Re: Media Monkey Specific Features

So to be a little more helpful than that... While we wait for more tags to become available in MMA, could you work around your issue via AutoPlaylists in MMW? I see that Mood is available as a selection criteria in AutoPlaylists. If you created one AutoPlaylist for each of the Mood values that you u...

Re: MMA creates new Device Profiles

Had this again with 139. Yesterday, I opened MMA, selected a playlist, and the device reset itself before playback started. Today, on my next sync attempt, a new profile was added to MMW. Presumably, something happened to that storageinfo.xml file during yesterday's crash. I have another device in t...
