After a clean install & rescan: Every 2nd time I hit play on the player, white noise is played. E.g.
1) Hit play -> white noise
2) Hit pause. Then hit play again => plays normally.
3) Hit pause. Go to step 1.
No other player on my system exhibits this behaviour.

MediaMonkey trying to access Media Center 12.exe in memory
I've been having my computer rebooting every half hour or so, but only whenever MediaMonkey_3.0.3.1148 is running. Since Xmas, Ive been installing over the top of previous installations, so thought I'd uninstall and clear out all plugins, scripts & the MM3.db. So I wiped all folders and reinstalled....

Rusty, Jiri: Was there any reason you chose not to use the freely available AAC encoder from Ahead/Nero? My understanding is that Ahead allows anyone to download and use the encoder, for free, providing that it is from their site and the user agrees to a license agreement, and that the End User down...

"Non-modal" track properties dialog
When the track properties dialog is up, I can't do anything else in MM3, not even pause the players, or change track. Sometimes I want to do this, e.g. when writing in or correcting lyrics - and you need to replay the passage again to make sure you got it right. There's other examples, but can't rec...

NTFS Hardlinks for auto-organize of multi-artist files
Suggestion: I'd prefer to have MM3 save files with multi-artist values (e.g. "John Scofield; Pat Metheny") in each artist's separate folder, but without duplicating the file. To do this a NTFS "hardlink" could be used to link to a single instance of the file. Hardlinks are viewed, unlike "shortcut" ...

Have installed the new AAC encoder, but it causes MM3 to gobble up memory (200MB+) and eventually crash - even if no encoding has been done and MM3 is just playing from a playlist. So I've had to uninstall it. I'm also not able to report this in the proper thread ( http://www.mediamonkey.com/forum/v...

I've made an enquiry with the "SQL Maestro" developers, as to the possibility of using their product with MM3's IUNICODE-collated database. Vadim has written back and asked for a database sample and a collation description. If you're interested, please see this post for more details: http://www.medi...

Here's an example of someone posting here in the last week, who was using MM2, didn't state it, obviously didn't know about MM3, and the replier initially assumed they were on MM3: http://www.mediamonkey.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=24438 Just thought I'd throw in an example of how more explicit forum ...
