Time for a new MM3 wishlist discussion group?
I posted this in the Beta Testing discussion, but it may be just as relevant here. Anyway, here's the copy: ---------------------------------------- The current "MediaMonkey Wishlist" discussion contains many requests for features found in MM3 - that is, it seems mainly full of MM2 wishlist items. E...

Thanks for the suggestion Bex :) But starting a new thread within the "Mediamonkey Wishlist" discussion with the post "MM3-only wishlist" is just going to create a monster thread, and be difficult to see what individual issues are being suggested and discussed. What it really needs is a new "discuss...

Time for a new MM3 wishlist discussion group?
The current MM Wishlist discussion ( http://www.mediamonkey.com/forum/viewforum.php?f=4 ) contains many requests for features found in MM3 - that is, it seems mainly full of MM2 wishlist items. Even the sticky thread at the top was last updated in 2005! And reading other peoples' requests, we usuall...

Disabling fade-out for particular songs/genres?
Is there any way of automatically having the fade-out feature turned off for particular songs (via setting a property of the track), or for a particular genre? Generally, I find my "Spoken Word" and "Comedy" genres not appropriate to fade out. I usually play my tracks on random, so I hear a mixture ...

Keep an eye on this topic: http://www.mediamonkey.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=20828&start=0&postdays=0&postorder=asc&highlight= where I've posted a request for a script to deal with this, until this bug is fixed. It should go something like this: Repeat with all files in (Select * from songs where fil...

Script to make filename.length < 60?
Due to MM3 being incompatible with Quicktime 7 if the filename is 60 chars or greater, and there being no confirmation that the bug is going to be fixed, would anyone be so kind as to provide a script something like this: Repeat with all files in (Select * from songs where filetype="m4a" and length(...

I've had the same prob, and it turned out like Rusty said - filename length was >59 characters. I haven't checked the last few builds (because I've taken out my DVD drive from my MM3 computer), but A7 didn't allow me to RIP a CD to M4A format (which is AAC). For a product that is supposed to support this industry standard open format, it seems a little odd. Can someone please update me on this...

B3: [Back] doesn't go back to previous view
1) Type a word in the search box. 2) In the results, right click a track and select "Show more from same album" 3) The tracks in that album are shown. Now click the back button [<-] above the tree. 4) The view doesn't go back to the search results as expected - it incorrectly goes back to the view p...

B2 bug: Duplicates incorrectly show in search results
I'm getting some duplicate songs showing as the result of a search. However, under the location node, the same songs don't appear as duplicates. Looking at a number of albums where every song shows twice, I've checked properties and each pair of songs point to the same file, so it's definitely a dup...

Bug: Cannot log into wiki if username contains "_"
I bought this up a while ago in another forum, but not here, so if this is the place to get bugs on "the list", then here's another one.....
If your username contains a "_" character, you cannot log into the wiki.
