Standard Windows editing in MM [#5804]

Why doesn't MM support the standard Windows (shortcut key) editing possibilities?

What I am missing is <Ctrl><DEL> to delete to end of word.

MM 3.1: close button doesn't work

Since I upgraded to MM 3.1 the close button (the X at the right top corner of the window) doesn't work any more in none of the MM windows. Other explicit " C lose" buttons (the ones in an eclipse at the right bottom) or Alt-F4 do work. I don't find an option where I can enable it. I'm using the Brus...

Re: Toolbar Shortcuts

At this stage only the Standard, Edit, Advanced, View and Quicksearch toolbars are configurable. I was afraid of something like this. In order to add a new toolbar double-click the <add new toolbar>, name it and add shortcuts to it. [...] In order to move shortcuts around, you drag and drop. This w...

Re: Toolbar Shortcuts

Right click on the toolbar and select Configure. The Navigation Toolbar is not in the list of configuarable toolbars. I don't see how you can make a new toolbar; this doesn't seem to work. And I don't seem to be able to add actions. How could I add new nodes to the Navigation Toolbar? I want to add...

Re: 1202(Orig 1177): installer error on MMHelper.dll BUG#388

Remove <Drive>:\Program Files\MediaMonkey\MMHelper.dll!

It will get restored with the installation.

Simple and easy!

For an album you can change the track numbers.
With playlists you can drag tracks; no idea how this shows up in an iPod.

Re: Unofficial but very helpful iPod/iTunes/MediaMonkey Hints

Now neither iTunes nor Windows recognizes the iPod! Check the connections. [Seems silly, but don't dismiss the most stupid possibility]. Eventually try another cable [unlikely, unless you mangled it]. Is you iPod connected to a hub? Connect it directly to your computer. Did you do a reboot? Complet...

Re: Unofficial but very helpful iPod/iTunes/MediaMonkey Hints

The first 6 items of the post are about iTunes. Do I just start at #7 if I just want to use MM. iTunes, that's what your question is about, isn't it? Go to page 1 and read it. It'll answer (most)) of your questions. At least it did for me. I only use MM to sync my iPod Classic. Only to upgrade my s...

Re: Ipod: multiple artists don't sync correctly.

Under the iPod device sync options you can choose to sync only the first value when multiple values exist for Artists and genres. My guess is that you have the option for genres checked but not the one for artists. None of them is checked. Multiple genres sync as entries under each separate genre, ...

BINGO! - solved!

I feel SO stupid. Sorry you had to got through the trouble of a screenshot. It must have been there before my eyes. Seeing blind, you know. Thank you all. And now I can detach and re-attach the now playing window again. This depends if the "Show Titlebar" switch is on. If this is off you can't re-at...

Re: Now playing window stays detached

No, don't right click the titlebar, but in the window itself, or on a track in the Now Playing window. Then View -> Dock to window. I tried the context menu for virtually every pixel. Nowhere there is a docking option. Within the Now Playing window I get the track context menu (see above). B.t.w. f...
