Re: Set location of database.

That would be pretty slick if it did that work way, but no, you can't currently do that.

Re: [BUG] Back button doesn't work

Whether or not there are Ok/Cancel buttons is an interesting distinction that I wasn't considering. My immediate reaction is the Back button is then ambiguous in that context, so maybe disabling it is better. In fact, funny this should come up right now, because I just got tripped up by this exact t...

Re: [REQ] Access to my google.music libary (and other servi

You either misstated that request, or you're talking gibberish. Google Music does not allow access from other apps. That would totally violate their licensing.

Re: Sync Issues (Still)

i use usb sync just like moving files to an hard drive, i dont sync back to the pc i use the numbers and rates from the pc. that being said though i do get some messed up art work for the albums even with the usb sync. but its working for me that way, I think maybe it should be clarified that what ...

Re: [BUG] Back button doesn't work

My feeling is that pressing back should always back you out of whatever you are in without changing any potentially changed info. Thus, my feeling is back should be the same as cancel. While that's generally true in the Windows world, I think it's actually the opposite in Android. I'm pretty sure A...

Re: songs missing from playlists

This has been interesting saga to follow. I sure hope you get it figured out. You've mentioned the M3U file a couple of times. That may be something of a red herring for you. In my understanding, MMA isn't reading the M3U file at all. It's reading an independent version of the playlist that's regist...

Re: [REQ] Playlist Shortcuts

Thanks, and I like your idea to include NFC support. Although, I think as long as you provide standard home screen shortcuts, other programs can already handle launching them via NFC for us. I'm not sure you'd really have to build that in, but I guess if you can make it smoother, all the better.

Re: Properties Dialog OK and Cancel button not displayed

Kind of a long shot, but do you by any chance have an nVidia graphics card? This thread here talks about a driver issue with those cards that causes MMW dialogues to misbehave. http://www.mediamonkey.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=1&t=69538&p=362292&hilit=nvidia#p356699 I don't have one any o...

Re: Ratings disapper

This might be the same thing that's being discussed here: http://www.mediamonkey.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=21&t=72289 I have not had it recur since I did a full wipe. (uninstall MMA, delete the MM folders on the device, delete all content from wherever you sync to, and delete the profile in MMW)...

Re: No Exit \ Ram Hog

rovingcowboy, that stop button in the notification tray is an Android 4+ feature. It's not present when you run MMA on Android 2.x. Us poor suckers that are still on Gingerbread don't really have a Quit option of any sort. BamaJon, if you've been using Tasker for a while, this likely isn't the first...

Re: [REQ] Playlist Shortcuts

I'm a bit disappointed that this feature still hasn't shown up. It seems to be a basic feature of every other media player out there. Here's a screenshot showing how you'd add these shortcuts for PlayerPro, Play Music, Moto's stock player, and WinAmp. Is there some reason MMA can't offer this as wel...

In the time since this started, have you done a full wipe (uninstall MMA, delete MM folders in all storage locations, delete all synced content)?

Re: Sync Issues (Still)

I am just trying to determine what is different about my situation compared to others who have the same setup and have no problems syncing. Wait, are there people who have no problems syncing? I've only gotten as far as it works about as often as it fails. I thought that was kind of the general sta...

Re: Beta graduation?

I have the beta installed as portable and the last official release installed normally. I don't see the official release rebuilding its library though. Do you have both pointing to the same database?
