Proposed

Some easier way to define ratings has been proposed. The current proposel asks to do this from the taskbar area where the MM icon is located.

Which version

Which version are you using? I had this problem too with some older versions of MM, but that latest release MM 2.1 should have solved this problem.

Questions

This is great, but I have two questions:

Does this update the tags in the files too (or do you need to run synchronize feature afterwards)

How similar is VBscript to VB 6 and VB.net?

Some info

A French version of MM isn't available, in fact only the English version is available. There are plans to in the future create MM in diferent languages, but don't expect this too soon.

For similar files there is are duplicate nodes in the file to edit node, check them out!

Check it out

Two very similar topics have been discusses:
- buddy files support (to support other files accompanying a song file)
- Album art support

Check out the wishlist forum for these and other discussions.

some help

For MM to see any changes on other PC's you will need to update the database with Add new tracks or File monitor (not update library) on each of those PC's. You might need to play with the only for changed timestamp option to get the wished for results. MM uses the DB to store tags and uses those st...

I don't know if MM sends volume leveling to WinAmp. But the volume leveling is what MM uses to adjust the volume for all songs to sound at the same volume.
But that's probably all you would need..

I think it's being considered

I think some fields that are missing are planned to be added in a next version of MM.
Just check out the wishlist forum and the what's on the wishlist item to see what's wished for and also what's planned for the next release.

I have recently been using the PC without monitor too when I got to other people's parties. My solution currently is creating a playlist and save it in a M3U file and leave a shortcut in startup. This will start MM and start playing when I start up the PC. Of course you have little control over the ...

Which version?

Which version of MM are you working with. In version 2.1 this problem should be solved and no .xxxx files should be created.

some info

For multimedia keyboards the order in which players start matters. It will normally only control the last opened player. As for MM opening WinAmp, this is normal. MM keeps communicating with WinAmp the whole time. If you don't want WinAmp opening if you're not playing songs you'll need to switch bac...

Yep

I must admit I like this list for the next version. Of course there are always other things left, but that's why it's your program and not mine. I will be looking out for the first beta release to get to play with it.

Thanks

Script

MM can't do that for you, but you could write a script for it, or ask for such a script in the developers forum.

Ok

The problem is that I have empty artists as they are often named wrong in the album artist. This gives a confusing display for me. The main thing is that the album artist tracks are hidden in my view. I find this annoying. As I guess user wishes will vary on this subject I would opt for an option on...
