Re: UPNP Lyrics?
Thanks. It appears it does indeed pass the lyrics. The only thing left for me on this front would be to find something equivalent to Shazaam's upgraded lyrics that are live-animated and can take up the whole screen for groups to easily see and sing to. Sort of a built-in minilyrics.

Visualizations Full Screen on secondary monitor?
I assume I'm doing something stupid (nothing new there). I have three monitors in my setup including having my 70" TV in the mix as the third monitor. I'd like to get it showing my MM visualizations full screen. However, whenever I tell the vis to go full screen, it ignores the screen it's on a...

UPNP Lyrics?
Do the two Lyrics options serve ANY purpose when only streaming via UPnP/DLNA?
Also, how does one actually see them?
If they're on my MMW server, will MMA be able to see them?

DLNA Only?
I own MMW (Lifetime) and MMA (Pro) and have MMW setup as a server. Is it possible to have the Android app set so that it automatically only connects to the server for music? As it APPEARS now, I can turn off all phone-based storage locations, but if I want to play anything from the Windows server, I...

Re: MM Cloud
Thanks. Is there a simple guide for how to set this up?
Sounds like a Plex setup so then the next question is, how is this different/better than something like Google Music?

Re: MM Cloud
Remember, as the OP, what I was mainly advocating was LOCALLY stored media (most of our collections are huge if we're MM fans) but a browser-based client. The Windows client felt old when I posted that thread way back when. It hasn't gotten younger since. Now, at least, there are apps coming for oth...

Re: MM Cloud
1. Google Music's app is there only to sync songs. Once done it's no longer needed. I haven't had it running on my system for months. 3. Space is becoming a non-issue on many services including Google Music. Again, that's going to continue on that way with each passing quarter. My hope is to then ha...

Re: MM Cloud
Sorry but this again has absolutely nothing to do with what I've described. The benefits of what I describe include (but are not limited to): 1. No need to install anything on a device beyond the browser (this fails that). 2. No need to be concerned with networking of any type including opening port...

Re: MM Cloud
Wow, I stopped getting updates on this thread and assumed it died. Then this morning I read this story: http://massively.joystiq.com/2011/09/20/mmobility-illyriad-devs-shine-light-on-html5/ It's all about how HTML5 is changing the face of gaming and that soon all gaming will be done via the browser....

Re: MM Cloud
Dreadlau, I hear you. One problem here. They already have sold all of us and in some cases it was years ago. As a business consideration one needs to very much think about how to entice new customers to come in and that's where I'm seeing a possible trouble spot. If the rest of the world shifts--and...

Re: MM Cloud
I used to have those numbers as I was involved with a project called Tunebug (tunebug.com) where we had the numbers from Barnes and Noble, Best Buy and other good sources. And that was 18 months ago. If you've been watching the tech news, many outlets have already called the PC a dead platform. I do...

Re: MM Cloud
I've seen the same thing too. One big difference here is that I come from a heavily tech dev and marketing background so this is pretty much what I do and get paid to do. Joe Bob who works in the mail room upset that the product doesn't do something he wants can have all the opinions he wants. I'm s...

Re: MM Cloud
One other observation about this: Over the weekend I was talking with some friends when one of the asked me about the old e-mail program many of us knew as Free Agent (and paying customers like me knew as Agent). I was on the beta team for a long, long time with this one. As the world around Agent c...

Re: MM Cloud
Thanks. It's useful, clearly, but still not going to fit the changing needs of many out there. This user included.
