Tiebreaker and node

The tiebreakers could also be dependend on the node your watching I think. In other words in the Artist node, the artist is always the tiebreaker when sorting on a different field and so on for Title, Album & Genre. For their subnodes album subnode under artist it should be album then artist. Proble...

Good

Yeah, that's good, because the search was kinda shaky, a lot of things I couldn't find that I know are there.

Thanks

Discussed

This has been discussed previously in the forums (you might want to browse around). Some problems were which system to choose, some only allow for their system to be included, some allow for multiple systems. FreeDB was one of the choices, but so are other systems. Currently the only thing you can d...

Guest,

Go to the options menu in MM and to the File Monitor tab. Delete all folders from there.

It Does

Well for me it does so I'll include the code here for it: [System] DBName=c:\some\path\here\MediaMonkey.mdb Under the [System] line you add the DBName line with the location of your mediamonkey DB. Of course you can point it to a network location or shared network drive. More info can be found here:...

Doubt it

I would doubt it that the RIAA has spread such a worm. Not only are they affecting other's people businesses, but they are also illegally entering people's PC's. These two practices would be illegal in most country. The other point would be that you are allowed to make a copy of music you own as lon...

Logical sorting

I'm missing logical sorting in MM. If I sort by Album in the tracklistings I would expect it would first sort by Album, then by Artist (in case multiple artists have the same album name) and then by Track #. In this case MM sorts by Album and then by Artist. There are probably other sorts where othe...

some help

1. Do you have the file-monitor enabled? This will run on startup of MM. You can read more about that here: http://www.songs-db.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=750 2. Do you have those duplicate files show up in ' Dead Links '? If so delete them from there and you shouldn't see them duplicated anymore. Do...

Yep

I do have it setup this way, but only tested it once and it works great!

DB is on shared network drive together with songs, both local and other machines connect through network to songs. DB is accessed locally on local machine.

Also when ripped

Also when a CD is ripped? Currently you can update the info for tracks on a CD, but when ripping the CD freeDB is requeried and it's results are used (or lack thereoff as I'm not connected while ripping, which results in empty tags). This is quit a gripe as work needs to be done again.
