Yes and no

3. This would be a nice small feature

I would very much like to see added CDripping support as it would be way easier for me to rip out of the MM interface. I would add my wish for a burn CD node (optional).

Why do you want another utility?

In other words are you missing something in MM and so what, post it on the forums and it might get added!

1 DB, multiple PC's

Well I have one PC with songs and other PC's that access those songs. Non of these PC's have songs themselves. I have the MM DB stored on the same shared drive as the music. The DB has the music stored under the network path (scanned DB on musics local PC, but used network path to scan). You'll just...

Just MM here

Oh, I just use the internal player of MM. No need for WinAmp here either. I'm just interested in the discussion as many didn't like WinAmp3 and WinAmp2 seems to be the bigger of the two. The only reason I actually have WinAmp at all is that many plugins from WinAmp that can be used in MM need WinAmp...

MM basically works the same as with the internal player. The files are still dropped in the now playing window. This info is send on to WinAmp who will use it play the songs.

Associated player

But file association shouldn't render the songs unplayable. Basically all it means is that if you click on a file it will open in that associated player. The files still play in any othere player. Let us know more specifics on the problem like MM version and OS you are using that we might be able to...

On the wishlist

An update to the treelisting is planned, which would allow a user to customize it's view. What this exactly will look like I don't know, but I believe you would be able to hide nodes.

In many parts of the forums a lot has been discussed about these type of wishes and the Party player. You might want to browse (search) around to find these discussions.

WinAmp2 needed not 3

MediaMonkey supports WinAmp2, not WinAmp3. You should be able to find WinAmp2 everywhere as it is still commonly used.

Has been requested

A wake up/auto-start feature like the sleep feature currently existant has been requested before in the forums.

So the good news is that others would like such a feature!
