Re: MM Cloud
....because our music information is loaded with things like credit card information, etc..... No, actually it isn't. No decent system should be that way. I come from a background of online development (ultimately after years prior doing client-side application development) involving transactional d...

Re: Lyrics tags change file?
Thanks. I think you hit the nail on the hid with the middle item. I'm using Lyricator now as MiniLyrics wouldn't work and Lyricator works GREAT. However, it appears that it never touches the timestamp and I'm willing to bet that's what Carbonite is focusing on so I'll turn that on too and suspect th...

Re: Embedding lyrics?
Yeah, I gave up on MiniLyrics for that. Now using Lyricator.

Re: Lyrics tags change file?
The lyrics are all there every time I load so if it can't write to the files that would seem not possible. Plus nothing about that folder is special. Just a Music folder on drive all it's own that I access all the time.

Lyrics tags change file?
I found a way to mass enter lyrics into my library of FLAC files (or at least I think I have). I've been adding them by the thousand and I was glad to see them all appearing nicely in MonkeyRok and thought this was done. However, I also use Carbonite to back up my system including my music collectio...

Re: MM Cloud
Sorry, but I have to say I think this is a very dated view. Today we have Gmail leading the way, Netflix, Office is now online and many, many more. Ever single time I upgrade my PC it's apps like MediaMonkey that give me fits as each one has their own quirks about how to re-install them and the regi...

Re: Jukefly-like features?
I use MonkeyRok and just updated. Lyrics are there so that's good. They're not time-stamped but that's fine too. Not sure about the videos yet but looking. Been a while since I played with MonkeyRok so I forget how to add "ribbons" I don't have on already and yet I managed to add lyrics. Now I can't...

Embedding lyrics?
My music is all in FLAC, which I believe supports embedded lyrics, and I also own MiniLyrics. What I'd like to do is figure out a somewhat automated process for taking the lyrics and getting them embedded into the thousands of songs on hand. Note, I don't mean just seeing them while they play but ac...

Jukefly-like features?
One other area I'd like to see added (or pointed to if they're already around) relates to the now-defunct product JukeFly. JukeFly was a neat little app that was cloud-based (see my other thread for that one) but the coolest thing about JukeFly was its inclusion of smart tie-ins to related material....

MM Cloud
I'd love to see MediaMonkey embrace the changing online world and move away from a client app and more towards a cloud version or at least a version we can install on our own servers and run from anywhere (which would include our phones, tablets, laptops, etc.) Take the registration income and move ...

Re: Streaming my library?
I tried this out a few years ago and found it, at that time, entirely unapproachable. Has it gotten any more intuitive?
I found JukeFly at the time and it's been fantastic but their Android app is an alpha version that's extremely buggy. The main client is fantastic with lyrics, videos, etc.

Re: Media Player Emulation Output Option???
You weren't and trying to suggest that this is what you were attempting is insulting. There is absolutely nothing helpful in the reply, "Have you also done the reverse and asked the devices to just support MediaMonkey natively?" How about if I ask you if you've remembered to close the door when you ...

Re: Media Player Emulation Output Option???
Wow, you know... Maybe I was wrong after all! Seems it might be easier to get Logitech to support this than MediaMonkey. If you can't tell, that's sarcasm. The link you provide hasn't been touched in over a year and what Peke's done was admirable but well outside MM and much of it is now no longer i...

Re: Media Player Emulation Output Option???
Yes and in all these years it's gotten us nowhere. Given the option of trying to make the case with Logitech or here I suspected the odds are much higher convincing MM to do something than getting Logitech to do so. I've had some problems with their stuff for YEARS ON END without any fix.

Media Player Emulation Output Option???
For years now there are those of us with varied devices like our G15 and G19 keyboards (among others) who have been pulling out our hair trying to get MediaMonkey to work with these displays at the basic level that Media Player does. How difficult would it be to add an option to talk to devices and ...
