Re: PS3 vs PS4 media server access.

Have you tried removing any unrecognizable clients as well as the PS4 from the client list. It should then request access again in MediaMonkey (make sure to share automatically is enabled in MediaMonkey Media Server settings).

This may work better for you in MediaMonkey 5.

Re: Album Art

So, within MediaMonkey itself Artwork isn't displayed when accessing the files on a DLNA Server? Which version of MediaMonkey (Help > About) are you using?

Re: MM5 just freezes during playing song

Is this for playback within MediaMonkey or when casting?

Can you please capture this in a debug log (step 4b) and attach the log to a Support Ticket: https://www.mediamonkey.com/forum/viewt ... 30&t=86643 This will allow a developer to analyze why this happens in your setup.

Re: Backing up MM5 database similar to iTunes

Playlists in MediaMonkey should be correct too, however exported Playlist files are not updated by this mechanism in MediaMonkey. They'll need to be changed outside of MediaMonkey in a text editor.

Re: Did I just delete my db file?

No, uninstalling doesn't remove the database file, you should still have it where it's stored: https://www.mediamonkey.com/support/kno ... ini-files/

For Manually Re-assign Drive, yes. But you can use File > Locate Moved/Missing Files instead: https://www.mediamonkey.com/wiki/WebHel ... sing_Files

Re: Backing up MM5 database similar to iTunes

So you're not copying the database? Playlists import empty if the Paths on them are not pointing to where the files actually reside. You can view the Paths by opening a Playlist file in a text editor (like Notepad). The Paths shown need to be where the files actually reside. All that's needed is: 1)...

Re: Beta Testing for Mac MM

With MediaMonkey 5 the groundwork for the MAC version has already been done. So it's not a from-scratch product.

Re: Backing up MM5 database similar to iTunes

You just need to copy the database file. Your media files can reside anywhere you wish and it doesn't matter which Windows user the database is stored for.

Re: Backing up MM5 database similar to iTunes

If you scan for media it will add the files, no matter where they're located. This however is not the procedure if you want to use the old database. Is MediaMonkey on the PC you changed your media files from the iTunes folders to the Music > MediaMonkey 5 folder update with this change? That would b...

Re: Backing up MM5 database similar to iTunes

If you got the right database to the right place that should not be needed. You should see your library as it was on the old PC. If this isn't the case something has gone wrong in getting the database from the other PC. All you need to do is, copy the database from 1 PC to the other from their defau...
