Playlists in MediaMonkey should be correct too, however exported Playlist files are not updated by this mechanism in MediaMonkey. They'll need to be changed outside of MediaMonkey in a text editor.

No, uninstalling doesn't remove the database file, you should still have it where it's stored: https://www.mediamonkey.com/support/kno ... ini-files/

Locate Moved/Missing Files requires the selecting of files that need to be located.

So you're not copying the database? Playlists import empty if the Paths on them are not pointing to where the files actually reside. You can view the Paths by opening a Playlist file in a text editor (like Notepad). The Paths shown need to be where the files actually reside. All that's needed is: 1)...

The something went wrong along the way. Did you remove files from the Library at any point (like greyed out/dead links)?

You just need to copy the database file. Your media files can reside anywhere you wish and it doesn't matter which Windows user the database is stored for.

If you scan for media it will add the files, no matter where they're located. This however is not the procedure if you want to use the old database. Is MediaMonkey on the PC you changed your media files from the iTunes folders to the Music > MediaMonkey 5 folder update with this change? That would b...

If you got the right database to the right place that should not be needed. You should see your library as it was on the old PC. If this isn't the case something has gone wrong in getting the database from the other PC. All you need to do is, copy the database from 1 PC to the other from their defau...

What is missing for you, those steps are for MediaMonkey 5. Note that Collection is a Collection like Music.
