Well, this didn't turn out too bad. When I copied the settings from the old profile over to the new profile and did a sync, it worked fine. So recovery was pretty painless. I was afraid it was going to recopy all the tracks, but it didn't.

As a work around, you can create an additional shares on the desktop side, each that only gives access to a specific folder. That reduces the navigation on the device side somewhat.

For a thorough wipe, consider also clearing Android's media store. I've been able to wifi sync multiple playlists with 1629. Are you saying it fails when it's exactly 2? So like, 1 playlist works, and 3 playlists works, but having exactly 2 fails?

Scratch that last comment. After playing with some settings in my other media player, all of MediaMonkey's playlists suddenly showed up in it.
