Re: Streaming my library?

I tried this out a few years ago and found it, at that time, entirely unapproachable. Has it gotten any more intuitive?

I found JukeFly at the time and it's been fantastic but their Android app is an alpha version that's extremely buggy. The main client is fantastic with lyrics, videos, etc.

Re: Media Player Emulation Output Option???

You weren't and trying to suggest that this is what you were attempting is insulting. There is absolutely nothing helpful in the reply, "Have you also done the reverse and asked the devices to just support MediaMonkey natively?" How about if I ask you if you've remembered to close the door when you ...

Re: Media Player Emulation Output Option???

Wow, you know... Maybe I was wrong after all! Seems it might be easier to get Logitech to support this than MediaMonkey. If you can't tell, that's sarcasm. The link you provide hasn't been touched in over a year and what Peke's done was admirable but well outside MM and much of it is now no longer i...

Re: Media Player Emulation Output Option???

Yes and in all these years it's gotten us nowhere. Given the option of trying to make the case with Logitech or here I suspected the odds are much higher convincing MM to do something than getting Logitech to do so. I've had some problems with their stuff for YEARS ON END without any fix.

Media Player Emulation Output Option???

For years now there are those of us with varied devices like our G15 and G19 keyboards (among others) who have been pulling out our hair trying to get MediaMonkey to work with these displays at the basic level that Media Player does. How difficult would it be to add an option to talk to devices and ...

Re: Ability to use empty menu bar?

Because it continually changes focus and resizes out of the desire size. Thus, for the same reason the embedded script exists is what I want. I'd just like to find a way to use it in a new location. The menu bar can do other creative things so I don't think it's outside the realm of possibility. Tha...

Re: Ability to use empty menu bar?

Exactly. I'm on a 24" widescreen monitor. My menu bar items (File, Help, etc.) and the icons to the right of them don't even reach the half-way point. Thus there's a LOT of unused space there doing absolutely nothing that I'd like to put to use.

Re: Ability to use empty menu bar?

Yes, but I saw nothing in it that would let me put it in the menu bar area.

Ability to use empty menu bar?

I like MiniLyrics (as an example) but I find it annoying that it's always in the way. However, there's one area where I have a lot of dead space and that's in the right-hand side of the menu-bar. I've taken the time to resize MiniLyrics to appear in that space and, surprisingly, it would work quite ...

Re: Monkey Rok 5.1 - Updated 24/03/2010

Thanks. That was it and it appears to have been a remnant from 4.1 somehow. I installed Windows 7 (from XP) and restored my MM database. The temp folder was pointing to the old structure of "Documents and Settings" which doesn't exist under Win7. The ironic part of this is that IF I ever need a debu...

Re: Monkey Rok 5.1 - Updated 24/03/2010

Tried to look for this but with 16 pages of entries it's a bit daunting. I did hit at least half of them and a search came up empty. The only thing I found was a French poster with the same issue but no resolution. My issue is the 5.1 (which I just installed) is coming up 100% blank. Just a browser ...

Re: Monkey Rok 4.1 [MM2+3]

I was just listening away when suddenly this came up during shuffle play of my library: There was a problem querying the database: Error executing SQL "SELECT Id FROM Artists WHERE Artist='Guns N' Roses' ":near "Roses":syntax error(1,1) I can select Guns N' Roses songs to play and they play but each...

Re: Album Art Standardized Naming???

Does anyone have a sense for the pros and cons of each approach? I mean as I see it there are three options: 1. folder.jpg 2. albumname.jpg 3. Embedded into each file Do many sources not read #3? Are there other approaches? I wouldn't mind actually having duplication of #1 and #3. However, I'm not s...

Re: Album Art Standardized Naming???

It was on Full but something else could be up as I just re-installed XP from scratch (after ditching Win7). After several reboots I haven't seen a ? for a few rounds now.

Still curious as to what the "standards" are, if any.
