MM is switching drive location for certain tracks.

Unfortunately I couldn't even figure out how to search for this topic efficiently, so apologies if this has been asked and answered elsewhere.

On my laptop, my library is spread across three portable drives. Two are WD "My Passport" drives, which I've marked with letters X and Y.

On the X drive, I have the following folders:

MUSIC
MyMusic2

If I unplug the X drive, and I navigate through the library, I will see things like

Y:\MyMusic2\Keith Jarrett . . . etc.

Any idea why this is happening? If I plug the X drive back in, these files still show a Y directory, until I play them, and then they correct automatically. However I'd prefer this not happen, because it prevents the album art from showing up as I navigate through the library. Thanks in advance for any suggestions.
